Raw material at Indonesia and EV Battery can be build in Malaysia with Tesla existing client and ship to Indonesia. Shipping cost reduce for Tesla because Malaysia and Indonesia is just across the Melaka strait and South China Sea. No wonder CKV acquired more share.

If the news on Tesla to set up plant in Indonesia to produce EV is confirmed, all semiconductor stocks related to EV will benefit.
No wonder the Technology index is bullish now and this index crossed 200-day SMA yesterday.
Good news to all semiconductor stocks related to EV.
Stock market is always 6 months ahead of economy.

Tesla direct client for EV battery which we all know who will be the huge beneficiary as the operational cost i.e shipping will be far more cheaper and for sure increase in order for the client which we know who. :-).

You have to look at the bigger picture and understand the main purpose of the private placement first. Whether it is used for expansion or pare down borrowings. This is always the better option to raise capital than doing a rights issue. The key difference is only selected suitable investors are chosen because they know the business environment well and could provide business opportunities..

Business just started last year and factory immediately reached 95% capacity. Then is easy to understand why RM25 million NP per quarter is not enough to fund for the cash flow of mega expansion ... another 600,000 square feet of factory could again reach 95% capacity as well ..

I’ve always thought Genetec didn’t very good fundamentals. I had approached them with a proposal to raise cash. They ignored me

Instead they bought Utusan’s printing plant. That plant will cost substantial money to partially tear down to fit Genetec’s business and then rebuild. I visited the plant when Utusan invited me. Not easy nor cheap to “renovate”

They already know who’ll take up the placement

Hi sslee, I do not have any deep knowledge on this but I think is possible to maintain certain level of high margin (after strengthening of MYR) since Aaple margin is 100%. So if genetec battery is advance battery then is possible to have high margin. Unless it is a low tech battery

Genetec do not produce any battery. Genetec only do designing and building of customized factory automation equipments to serve industries making EV battery.
