"The ministry would then choose a new service provider beginning Jan 1, 2020 after carrying out evaluations," it said.

The Education Ministry has nailed down the new specs ; Google Classroom etc so they already know what they want from the new service provider.Usually the tender process from submission and evaluating them takes a max of 3 months.So its probable the new contract will be awarded latest by 1st Sep, 2019 giving the awardee a full 3 months at least to implement the new system nationwide so it all goes online by 1st Jan,2020.

Since Eduspec uses Google Classroom and is already working with the Education Ministry together with Sharp to intro 100 classroms with their smart classroom tech, EDUSPEC is the clear frontrunner to win the new Billion Ringgit contract, imho.

PETALING JAYA: Teachers and parents are glad that the troublesome Frog virtual learning environment (VLE) and 1BestariNet will no longer be used in schools.

Teacher M. Punitha described the Frog VLE as very “user-unfriendly”.


The secondary school teacher from Melaka said she was excited to hear that Google Classroom would take over.

On Thursday, the Education Ministry announced that the contract with 1BestariNet to provide Internet access to schools nationwide would end tomorrow.



“Google Classroom is not only free but easy to learn. We don’t need to attend courses and teachers are not being forced to use it,”

This is a billion dollars project if implemented nationwide. School use Google classroom is just a iceberg in preparing for full STEM programs. Remember EDU programs is STEM which include Google classroom which coverage is bigger than Google classroom

if i sell at 0.05 oso make a big money (0.05 - 0.035 = 0.015 x 3,000,000 = rm45,000)
