Flonic's cleaning sector is at its mature stage already, and current diversification to furniture/design/renovation sector in Jiwa showed the management is concerned on the future prospect of the company
agree. Don underestimate the influence of Tan family. I speculate that this company might get something from 7-11 IPO. I'm lazy to elaborate too much. Leave it to you guys to imagine.
To whom it may concern, you need to push the price higher. 7 cents for a right issue is ridiculous considering the share price itself is about 7.5 cents and the company is making loss. you need to entice the investors with a higher market price or a profitable business prospect at least.
Just imaging why they are acquiring Jiwa Holdings, a company mainly involved in interior design. What are the linkages of interior design with Tan Chong, C&C, 7-Eleven etc?
fire1086, do you mean that you do not want to take the new share? Can, it's eligible to all share holders but not compulsory. Anyone, pls correct me if I'm wrong.
my experience with sumatec, yes you can choose not to take the right issues. problem is, there will be underwriters who would buy them.on listing date, the right issues will flood the market and dilute the price lower. but as i said in my previous comment, who would buy these right issues if the company doesnt seem to be doing so good, and the share price is only slightly higher than the right issues.
Seems like no one managed to imagine it right. Ok.. Let me elaborate a little. One of 7-11 plan is to change its store layout and business strategy since its losing business post the 99 speedmart and KK Mart entrance. So, with the IPO proceeds, it make sense to refurbish the layout and store feel to compete. The business might be bad for the past few quarters due to drag from old business but all it needs now is major contracts to turnaround. Do you all think that the major shareholder, Tan will keep increasing her stakes if the company has no hope... She has also committed to take up all her rights. Sometimes it is just common sense not so much of business sense.
This is an exercise to weed out all the weak shareholders with weak commitment. If no one take up the rights, Tan's stake will go up to 22%. from current 13%.
So mean the issuing price for right issue is 0.07 each share? and this price include together with warrant?let say if i buy 30000 share, then how much I need to pay and how much warrant I got?
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
