Exclude the forex gain last Q4 (RM3.5M) and loss this Q (RM0.7M), the QR is actually very impressive. Go study the QR in detail, be a smart investor, don't just look at the numbers on the surface only. Let the sell down settle, and I'll start to collect more, it will be over RM0.50 soon.

Excluding the forex, YoY is even more impressive than QoQ, meaning the management is doing a very good job in execution and growing the biz. As @nocindycat mentioned, nett out is a growth of 50%, that's extremely impressive!! Again, I urge all investors to go study the QR, do some homework and be a smart investor.

（吉隆坡26日讯）尽管前研科技（Frontken Corp Bhd）的台湾与新加坡子公司表现不俗，但外汇兑换亏损拖累其截至2017年12月31日止第四季（2017财年第四季）净利按年下挫9.58%，至983万令吉，上财年同期为1087万令吉。

惟季度营业额按年上扬6.29%至8038万令吉，上财年同期为7562万令吉，归功于半导体领域持续增长。

前研科技在致大马交易所的文告中指出，根据半导体领域协会（SIA），全球半导体行业在去年11月创下最高月度销售额，并且有望首次达到4000亿美元年销售额。

同时，前研科技的台湾与新加坡子公司的业务表现，分别上扬30.1%及0.6%。

相比之下，石油和天然气（O＆G）行业放缓，导致前研科技的大马、新加坡和印尼子公司业务走软。

“客户的太阳能业务下滑，也拖累菲律宾子公司的业务走低。”

前研科技在2017财年净赚2986万令吉，比上财年的2004万令吉，按年剧增48.99%，归功于营业额及盈利赚幅改善。全年营业额则从2亿6184万令吉，按年提高13.27%，至2亿9658万令吉。

展望未来，该集团预计大马与新加坡的非半导体服务业务将继续充满挑战，因这些市场的营运成本增加及业务放缓。

“我们仍然担心油气行业走软，加上国内生产总值增长低于预期及消费者开支疲弱，将会继续影响印尼的整体运作。”

“在任何无可预见的情况下，我们谨慎乐观看待今年我们的油气业务将会更好。”

截至下午4点02分，该股报45仙，挫3仙或6.25%，约1146万股易手，市值接近5亿令吉。

过去12个月，该股上涨了大约107%。

Global market sentiment isnt good lately, it works in tandem with US issue sparks trade war fear regarding fresh tariff on imports by trump. But i trust in value, no matter how, companies with good fundamental will sustain in the long run.
