A large percentage of MBSB loan are fix rate Islamic loan. Currently interest rate is on the way up. It will not benefit too much.

Why is the allowance for impairment still high? I thought that the impairment prog that started in end 2014 were completed in 2017.

And will the other operating expenses expected to be high (RM109mil in 2Q18 vs RM84mil in 2Q17)?

MBSB group now need to clear the impairment carry from AFB, it will take few quarter affect on the EPS, but in long term MBSB is a brilliant stock that keep stable and continue growth in it financial business.

My point of view is that if currently our government is still under the control by BN then this counter is hopeless, but now with our new government took place, BNM will work out something to help this lil bank to grow especially they are dealing more in islamic products. In Malaysia, we only have two bank which is concentrating in this segment. Cheers, time does matter. Just wait.

What is the different with AFB and MBSB ? What is the different between Najib's BN and Mahatir's PH ? There is no different at all. Party PriBumi is the old Umno and Rocket is the new MCA !
