ooi, the land diposal will take some time 3 to 6 months due to reason stated below,

The SPA shall be conditional upon the fulfillment of the
following conditions precedent:-

(a) the attainment by the Purchaser of the requisite approval
from Economic Planning Unit, Prime Minister’s
Department;
(b) the attainment by the Purchaser of the requisite consent
from the State Authority to the transfer of the said Land
in favour of the Purchaser pursuant to Section 433B of
the National Land Code, 1965; and
(c) such other legal or regulatory requirements as may be
imposed on the Purchaser for the acquisition of said
Land not expressly covered herein;

Based on the audited consolidated statement of financial position of the PJDH Group as at 30 June 2013, net assets per share of the Group will increase by approximately RM0.12 per share as a result of the post tax net gain arising from the Proposed Disposal of RM52.7 million.

Dear sephiroth,

Can I say from paper work, gain from disposal of land is 186-85=101 million ? Gain from disposal of building is 150 million.
Total gain = 251 million.

in my opinion, the gain from land / building disposal had been factored in already. I think a lot of people are waiting to see whether they can deliver strong operating profit in the coming quarter (excludes disposal gains)

they launched their You CIty projects few years back. These few quarters should begnning to see the results. As such, taking position in PJD is a good bet now

Ans : I think so. Please note that this case is the same scenario as Hapseng-WA when the latter disposed car business in Vietnam. After this announcement, the price slowly move up 100% later. Will it repeat for PJD-WC ? Yet to be seen.
