Every jump of half a sen is better in the penny stock when comparing to those of a Ringgit a share. the Average target price for TDM as in this Forum is RM0.77 only. But James Ng said got NTA slightly more than 50 sen.

You can debate in the classrooms, no problem, but many of those ideas do not work in the market. Once, my manager told me then, he will be very likely got himself involved in the shares market after his retirement. I now felt that what he said was wise and reasonable because he is an qualified accountant(MACPA) and he is not good in cooking otherwise he can start a nasi lemak restaurant even in Singapore. BUT please stay healthy and grow old wisely, with some capitals (from Savings) and his knowledge he can manoeuvre the market better than operating a food stall or labor in the durians farm.

Try not to miss the opportunity. The gold rush, oil palm run, those bouyancies...keep our ears and eyes opened while growing older, even above 80 years, you still can transact from any part of the world unlike those days. Likely, the older you are the more you can make as compare to the younger ones due to your skill which acquired throughout the years of ups and downs. You know there is a good example we can highlight.

TDM will increase a few more cents tomorrow?

NEWS:- TDM is buying a 70% stake in THP-YT Plantation SB from TH Plantations (THP) for consideration of RM7m. TDM said as part of the purchase of the stake, comprising of 25.90m shares, TDM and THP agree to settle part of the inter-company advances by THP-YT to THP Suria Mekar SB (THSM) – a unit of THP – of RM78.68m. It said part of the advances of RM62m shall be settled by a facility sum to be taken by the company from a bank. (Starbiz)

MEANING :- TDM to pay/help THP-YT (a unit in THP), to pay THP Suria Mekar SB (THSM, another unit of THP). TDM will secure a loan to buy that 70% stake. THE land bank is bloated with 33,653 ha of land, THIS ACQUISITION OF LAND would convince the BANK to lend to TDM to complete the transaction. THAT will be good.


Yayasan Terengganu (YT) -- owns 30% equity interest in THP-YT.

THP-YT owns three parcels of plantation land in Caluk and Marang, Terengganu with a total land area of 2,594.5 hectares, known as Ladang Bukit Bidong.

“The proposed acquisition will increase TDM’s total planted area in Terengganu from 31,346 ha to 33,653 ha.
