全球市占率将增至65% 手套业多赚30亿

马来西亚橡胶局总监拿督再罗沙尼博士说，经济学家预测，目前大马在全球手套市场占有62%的比重，不久后将能增至65%；以增加3%而言，意味着能为我国增加约30亿令吉的收入。

他指随着全球爆发2019年冠状病毒病，医用手套需求量也增加。

他说，尽管这胥视疫情发展，但无可否认的是自80年代，手套领域开始蓬勃发展。

“当年也是因病毒，即爱滋病毒(HIV)而令此行业发起，直到现在大马已发展成为全球最大的橡胶手套生产国。”

再罗沙尼博接受马新社电台有关冠病对橡胶业影响及未来方向的访谈时指出，若遇上任何大流行病，与医护用品相关的橡胶业及橡胶相关领域都能受惠，尤其是手套领域。

• 需求激增25%

“除了手套，我们也生产供手术用的导管。”

他指当大马橡胶业面对低价时，手套业却成了救市的领域，他预计手套业增长在疫情下增加5至25%。

他也指去年手套业为国家带来170亿令吉收入，因此大马需确保我国手套业稳坐全球市场之冠。

• 胶价处于低循环期

询及橡胶现今价格低，再罗沙尼说，价格管制不由橡胶局、橡胶业小园主发展局(RISDA)或国内其他机构控制，而是由国际市场定夺。

“若研究过去的橡胶价格，它有起有落，有其循环定律，我们看2020/2021年，它是处于较低的循环。”

橡胶价从过去每公斤3令吉下跌至去年每公斤1令吉70仙，这也导致割胶工人及小园主面对困境。

• 每年增长6%

再罗沙尼说，以往很多人认为橡胶业是“夕阳行业”，不管上下游工业都会沉没，但无法想到的是，橡胶出口量却逐年增加。

再罗沙尼说，从1990年至今，橡胶业每年增长处于5至6%，更是国内迅速增长的行业之一。

“若以它对国家经济分额的角度来看，我国1990年的橡胶出口额为13亿令吉，现今已取得310亿令吉。”

他提到，大马只掌握全球橡胶业价值的3%，但我国橡胶业有望持续增长：“所以本地小园主不应再使用20或30年前的橡胶生产方式，我国需确保橡胶业有一套完善策略。”

他指由于大部分小园主的橡胶园占地不大，他们受促通过科技提高产量。
