The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that there was a fire outbreak occurred this morning at Lot 6858, Jalan Matang, 34750 Matang Taiping, Perak which is the newly built three storey warehouse and packing department. The cause of the fire and actual extent of the damage are currently still unknown, pending the completion of the police investigations into the fire and issuance of their report.

The fire outbreak did not result in any death casualty and the production line is not affected. However, preliminary assessment reveals that the fire incident would not have a material impact to the financial and operations of the Company.

The Company will render their full assistance to the investigation and the Board of Directors will monitor the situation closely.

This announcement is dated 4 March 2016.

Means this fire only cause lost in inventory? And I think it's covered by insurance.

I recalled Poh huat had a fire in their plant last year..investor sold off and after that stock recovered as earning showed improvement. Sell la...haha
Poh huat news on 25 Aug.. price fell from 3.00 to 2.40. By early Oct it was even higher at 3.50.

EPS of Q3FY16=1.58cts along with the progressive commissioning of newly installed dip lines. Assume the eps would be repeated for the subsequent qtrs, the annual eps would be 6 cts.

PE 20 x = RM1.20
PE 15x = RM0.90

dont be greedy. better to avoid this counter. Ikan billis will suffer until no bones left. wakakaka
1) directors will know early the extend of the damages and the impact to the company.
2) it is during closed period as result coming out. directoer applied to deal with their shares. Hence they will be able to sell before news is submitted to bursa.
3) most of the shares owned by directors-hence easy for them to manipulate the price.
4) syndicate caught with hugh volumes - might push and dump. wakakaaka
5) buy below 0.7 - sure win...wakakaka

If you care to read the announcement from the company on that afternoon itself, it had been clearly stated that only the newly constructed warehouse was on fire and most importantly Production Lines are NOT affected at all. Then after and even few days after , you are offered plenty of time to buy at 0.80-0.805.
It is people who do not understand the biz of Comfort scare to grasp the buying opportunity.
I regret that I only have limited fund collecting at 0.80.

（吉隆坡9日訊）上週五因傳出倉庫失火而慘遭市場拋售的康复手套（COMFORT，2127，主板工業產品組），股價週三迎來反彈，全天漲4仙或4.94%。
 
投資情緒回穩加上美元匯率回升，康复手套週三盤中一度漲4.5仙或5.55%至85.5仙，終場收市掛85仙，成交量735萬6千300股。
 
上週五，康复手套旗下位於霹靂的倉庫發生火患，失火地點是該公司新建好的3層樓倉庫與停車場。
惟生產線不受影響，失火原因尚在調查當中，相關損失也有待估計。
失火消息導致康复手套股價當天一度跌破80仙大關，後來跌幅雖收窄，全天仍跌6.32%前稱綜合橡膠（IRCB）的康复手套，是在去年7月擺脫PN17陷困公司地位，其業績也明顯好轉。截至2016財政年首9個月，康复手套營業額按年漲51.21%，淨利則猛漲超過10倍，至1千626萬3千令吉。
