Thailand to cut rubber exports 50 pct from March to August

BANGKOK Feb 4 (Reuters) - Thailand, the world's top rubber producer and exporter, will cut its rubber exports by 50 percent starting March, the Rubber Authority of Thailand said on Thursday. The International Tripartite Rubber Council (ITRC) said on Thursday that members Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia, the world's top three rubber producers, will cut exports by 615,000 tonnes. "The three countries will cooperate in cutting exports by 615,000 tonnes from March to August," said Chao Songarvut, acting director of the Rubber Authority of Thailand.
I think Fahmi has been very negative in all glove counters... maybe because he sold all his stocks... therefore hoping all these counters to go down again so that he can buy more.... and can't accept the fact that USD has all the reasons to strengthen ....
To be honest.. hitting rm1 is not a problem provided USD continue to strengthen bit by bit everyday. Now insider is collecting, but they need the extra boost to push it to RM1.. if usd weaken to 4.0 then comfort will never touch rm1 for sure even if this quarter earnings hit 9mil.
hmmm.. am quite fishy about this counter. director had sold 5M units ($0.97) in the open mkt during Dec '16 when COMFORT was at its high. Just feb '16 director transfer 15M units to her sister in the open market? Can someone explain whats going on with comfort? Is this counter still reliable?
