we can only pray the Winnie Xi suddenly wake up and just open up the China border. it will eventually come, don't think China will lock down for the whole 2023, eventually they have to succumb to the economy needs and just learn to live with covid like others do
every time got news China loosen the border restrictions then Genting sure up. i am waiting for the moment when China fully lift their border restrictions and let go all the mainland people to travel the world like before, lol
China will relax the rules further by 1st quarter 2023…opening up travel. Many reasons for keeping border closed one of them was to encourage public to spend at home …I am expecting a very good 2023 for Genting and super one of Taurx gets regulatory approval in one of jurisdictions
Before China relaxing its covid rules,,,hopefully PAS muafakat menteri besar is not coming by next week,,,,limit down prices is inevitable if PN wins,,,,
China relaxes its zero covid policy only encourage influx of tourists to China, not influx of tourists from China to Malaysia. Genting's price surged yesterday is possibly due to excellent QR results of Genting Singapore, it is not because of China relaxing it's zero covid policy.
@WinSSP You are not wrong either. Outflux of tourists from China to places outside of China would not happen as soon as we think. Global tourism activities increase due to China relaxation of its covid will surely happen but definitely is not now, we are not at that stage yet.
After over two years of strict lockdowns and precautionary measures put in place to curb the COVID-19 pandemic, China has finally eased its quarantine and flight ban rules. Here are the details.
In what comes as a major move for those wanting to visit China, the country has relaxed its quarantine and flight ban rules. Announced on Friday, November 11, China hasn’t done away with quarantine totally just yet but has introduced measures that will make travel easier.
China relaxes quarantine, flight bans According to the latest notice by the country’s disease control agency, quarantine for inbound travellers has been reduced to eight days from the earlier 10. Of these, the first five will be at a government isolation centre, while the last three will be at home. However, inbound travellers will still have to undergo six nucleic acid tests, and will not be permitted to roam about freely in the country for these quarantine days, the notice adds.
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 13 (Bernama): Bursa Malaysia is likely to move higher this week, supported by returning global investors, with the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) moving between 1,460 and 1,480, said a dealer.
Expectation of an immediate boost from the recent (slight!) improvements to covid controls would be close to nil, perhaps slightly more for Macau The forward expectation of further relaxation is they key for the small rally
