As stated in AGM document, the board will buy up to 20,988,441 MPI shares in the open market resulting in reduction of MPI shares to 188,895,978 shares provided the shares purchased are fully cancelled.

Total value as of 9.13 is 244,080. And you said buy 31300 shares. Assuming you buy all at lowest 24.12, the amount will be RM754,956. Which is far more than the transacted value.
