Volume coming back after 2 days rest. Higher low formed. First target 13.60, 15.20.
Longer term if TP reach 20.65, will be very bullish momentum.

1)from what i know is, BAT already close the manufacturing factory in msia, cut down 20% man power, and will lower the advertisment in order to cut cost.
2)now BAT direct import rokok from nearby country
3)lastly, its dividend payout ratio is about 90~95%, and current dividend yield is around 10%

Once the illicit ciggrates problem reduce.....BAT will reflect the truth value

Exactly. The main problem facing BAT is the illicit cigarettes smuggling. With the stringent immigration and customs administration taking place in view of the current nCoV, the illicit cigarettes trade can be significantly curtailed.

Government will need more tax revenue in view of nCoV. In addition, the exponential growth of illicit cigarettes and cheaper cigarettes prices/pack will result in higher number of young smokers. The only way forward is to curtail the illegal cigarettes trade expediently.

Bat has potential but have gone up quite a lot in last 3 days ; the coming quarter profit n 19 yearly profit still be 20-25% lower than 18 yearly income; plus point is high dividend yield n the government may put more effort to reduce illicit cigarettes but it should take time ...

In view of nCoV, the strict controls and procedures to ensure no “re-export” and hoarding of controlled food items across all Immigration & Customs checkpoints will definitely curtail the illicit smuggling of cigarettes in 2020. The illicit cigarettes % will start to drop significantly in 2020 onwards.
