In physics, MOMENTUM (p) equation is directly proportional to the object's mass (m) and velocity (v)
p = m. v
Therefore, the greater the mass, or the greater the velocity, or both are greater, the greater its momentum!!! Assuming the mass is constant (whether it is a train, a truck, a bullet... etc), p is great if v is great. Now, you can imagine the tiny bullet's mass (with a few grams of weight) can make a great impact to the targeted object ( a bullet can kill an elephant).
That is the beauty of physics..most of the things are explainable with facts and data.
Now, back to stock market, how do we quantify the momentum for DNeX? ?
p (DNeX) = 1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9.10.11, 12...............
Where the variables are: 1. Huge volume transaction 2. Price hike gradually 3. IB recommendation 4. Chips shortage plus higher ASP 5. Spiralling up crude oil price 6. Excellent earning results 7. Wafer expansion by 20% 8. Charts say so 9. The arrival of feel good story tellers 10. External news that has direct/indirect impact on it. 11 Influx of foreign and local funds 12. The list goes on......
Aiyoh.. Too many variables are needed to write a momentum equation for DNeX....
How I wish a stock with momentum can be explained using physics,.... simple and straightforward... lol.
So, MOMENTUM is still intact or fading away??? Anyone??? Expect no answer one lah... Better let Mr. Market decides.......

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 16): CGS-CIMB Research has initiated coverage on Dagang NeXchange Bhd (DNeX) at RM1.13 with an “Add” rating and target price of RM1.60.
In a note Wednesday (Feb 16), the research house said DNeX is well positioned to benefit from SilTerra’s turnaround, underpinned by on-going semi chips shortages and structural shift towards More-than-Moore (MtM) devices.
The research house said it is projecting SilTerra to invest over RM900 million capex in FY22-24F.
“The group plans to increase its mask layer (ML) capacity by 20% to 10m ML/annum by CY23F.
“We expect SilTerra to secure two new long term agreements (LTAs) in 1HCY22F that will take up 80% of its capacity,”it said.
CGS-CIMB projects DNeX to post a 3-year core EPS CAGR of 453% (FY21-24F) driven by 1) higher wafers ASP, 2) higher wafers production volume on the back of new capacity expansion, 3) higher average crude oil prices for Ping Petroleum Limited (Ping), and 4) higher production volume at Ping on the back of its new capex programme.

Cimb report saying that TP 1.60 is without accounting these 2 factors. Which means dnex easily worth more than rm2 if these factors are accounted
