Budget/RPGT no impact on Hunza. It seems Hunza's target customers are real house owners, so no impact, anyway I think stock deeply undervalued with the Bayan Lepas development

Just went thro s/holder list as per 2013AR : key observations : no more "fund" investors, last placement probably went to 4 firendly guys : Central Forte S/B, Teoh, Chan and Eastspring S/B. Not sure how this stock can go higher without fund support. Looks like Khor family just main sendiri

You are right. Share prices look like controlled..

It is quite evident in the trading of wa. On 271/1, I placed sell order for 5000 wa at 1.21. Last minute 1000 wa was done at the closing price of 1.21. Price prior to this, wa price was standing at 1.17.

Maybe one day they will take the co private if they think the share price shd be higher. Is that possible ???

The property market in Penang will slow down next year, as there will be reduced transactions and fewer new launches.

Real Estate Housing Developers’ Association (Penang) chairman Datuk Jerry Chan said that the real property gains tax (RPGT) and tighter loan conditions imposed by banks were the reasons for the property market slowdown.

Ooi lay see is the unofficial second wife of dato Khor and apparently I've heard there is a power struggle between her children and the first wife children . The battle royale shall be interesting to watch

CORRECTION : Ooi lay See is the second wife with a bit of education and works for Khor teng Tong during the heyday in fishery business. His first wife is illiterate and a kampong girl from Kota. Of course OLS is a lot better looking than the 1st wife. The fight for control of HUNZPTY is between OLS and his first wife's children, as OLS children are still teenagers

Heard that KTT daughter has more influence in the company compared to the eldest son. OLS previously played an important role in the company apparently. It seems that they are going to do another round of placement. Fund managers have visited them recently

I took a look at their placement back in July '13, it seems they have issued up the limit of 10% of then paid-up. Looks like any likely placement as specualted by Impartiality will only involve old shares. May be RHB is trying to get the "nominee" placees off the hook
