AA sold 84 aircraft & 14 spare engines for RM 4,620,000,000 (4.62 billion ringgit)

AA has 3,341,974,082 outstanding shares in circulation.

So, RM 4,620,000,000 / 3,341,974,082 shares = RM 1.38 per shares

Now, share price is RM 3.00 !!

You pay RM 3 a share to get RM 1.38 of incoming cash!

Even someone purchase at 3 and get dividend at 1.38.. so what? after dividend the stock price will fall to 1.62 or even worst. Then wait for good prospect to fly to another 3 in the near term in this hard time? please think smart

I downloaded their Bigpay apps & registered in a few minutes then deposited RM20 and 3 days later i received their Bigpay card (mastercard) delivered by citylink. If u used A lot of people said their exchange rates is best rate closest to xe.com alike. Also if u use it to book AA flights, there will not be any processing fees unlike CC or online banking.

Herlooo, what do u wish to get out of arguing? If u are not interested, just move on. I see real values creation in AA. Besides their ancillary incomes having over 40%+ profit margins, i'm confident their Bigpay payment will make even more money just like Alipay.

No problem lah..we can argue but constructively. I fly with AA most of the time instead of other airlines. Will try to use their Bigpay apps or card in overseas transaction soon and see it for myself. The most important is the exchange rates being offered better than CC and i don't wish to use too much cash by exchanging more beforehand and ended up losing some with unused foreign cash after travels.

My experience. Most CC charge about 2+% overall (currency rate + charges + whatever). Some card gives 1% rebate for overseas spending so you ended up with 1+%

I have not come across CC that gives 2%. I Would like to know which one does.

AFAIK, for the time being, I don't know of any card better then BP for foreign currency spending. Sometimes slightly more and sometimes slightly less than xe.com so I consider that to be practically the same as xe.com

Both TM and Supermx have better competitors and their own respective market share within their own industry is quite saturated. AA on the other hand is a market leader dominating the low cost airlines industry in Asean.
