Cypark Resources Bhd , ib vogt GmbH, Coara Solar Sdn Bhd, and Impian Bumiria Sdn Bhd have been selected for solar plants in Marang, Terengganu with each plant having an export capacity of 100 megawatts of alternating current (MWac).
100MW is a big deal for cypark. Best time when solar panels are cheap and financing yields lower. Easily another rm20m to the bottom line for the next 21 years.... Rock on. Back to Rm1. 80 soon
In the announcement dated August 2019 ,it says the construction of the access road is for a period of 1 year till Aug 2020...does it mean wte plant will only commence operation after that? That is almost 3 years delay... a period of 1 year.
The Board of Directors of Cypark Resources Berhad ("the Company" or "CRB") wishes to announce that Cypark Smart Techonology Sdn. Bhd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company had on 13 August 2019 accepted a Letter of Award dated 9 August 2019 from the Department of National Solid Waste Management (Jabatan Pengurusan Sisa Pepejal Negara), under the purview of the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan) in respect of a contract for Design and Build Project of Access Road to the Integrated Sanitary Landfill Site (Projek Merekabentuk dan Membina Jalan Masuk ke Tapak Pelupusan Sanitari Bersepadu) at Ladang Tanah Merah, Negeri Sembilan ("the Works"). The total contract value is RM12,527,546.35 (Ringgit Malaysia: Twelve Million Five Hundred Twenty Seven Thousand Five Hundred Forty Six and Cents Thirty Five) only. The stipulated completion date of the project is on 25 August 2020, which is 12 months from the date of site possession on 26 August 2019.
Cypark has just won 100 MW solar project in Trengganu and soon the waste to energy and other solar farms under construction will contribute significantly to near future earnings not to mention future possible projects under planning and development. Invest for future earnings and prospect but please do it at your own risks [and rewards]!
Having high debts for this kind of company is normal as Cypark is investing in high capital investment projects. The debts are usually non recourse to the holding company and future incomes are secured via long term contacts for 21 or 25 years so the debts repayments and earnings are backed by robust future cash flows. No worry!
Once the high Capex projects are commissioned the cash flows will be produced. But please keep in mind that as the company is still in expansion and growth mode, cash will continued to be consumed for future projects. Invest for the future earnings and prospects and do it at your owned risk!
Having high debts, company must generate high cash flow as well to be able to service its debt and interest. CYPARK has been on negative cash flow most of the time, this resulted in having to borrow more just to keep operation running. Not unsustainable and too much red flag.
I fully agree that a company with high debts must generate high cash flow. If the Capex intensive investments are not backed by contractual incomes that certainly a very worrying situation and we must avoid at all cost to invest in such situations.
Contractual agreement can provides revenue and profit but not necessarily cash as can be seen in CYPARK where its receivable ballooned from 100+ million to current 574 million. Another red flag.
1. CGS-CIMB Equities Research pointed out that in December, Cypark won the bid to develop a 100MW solar plant in Marang, Terengganu, in the LSS3 auction. The plant has a commercial operation date (COD) of end-2021.
2. “We also gather that its 20MW waste-to-energy (WTE) plant in Negeri Sembilan is 100% completed, with all machinery in place, and should be able to reach its initial operation date (IOD) by early-2020 and COD by 2QCY20 (initial COD target was end-June 2019), ” it said.
Bond - Sukuk Murabahah --> 537,798,238, without this the cashflow would be negative in Q4'19. Is this also mean the interest for finance would be higher from next quarter onwards? Thanks if someone can help and clarify.
In comparison, even the newly-listed Solarvest Holdings Bhd has a PER of 24.2 times. Thus, it is not surprising that Daud is dissatisfied with Cypark’s current PER. “We are not happy about this (valuation) because if you have a better track record in terms of earnings growth... then it should be reflected as it is,” he said.
i see so many company tendering for the LSS3. Even oil & gas company also announce in their report that they are tendering for the LSS3. The LSS3 can be broken down and award to few company?
