serba client is oversea/middle east. cypark client mostly is malaysia government related company. both serba and cypark also shared the same issue, which is the recoverability of its receivables. In serba case, the collection is in doubt bcz of the identity of the clients themselves are susceptible. In cypark case, the collection is slow (or rather i should said the collection not commence yet for its 2 LSS2 projects) bcz 2 of the LSS2/ 1 WTE project is not COD yet and has been dragged for quite long period. especially the WTE, supposed to be COD on Jan 2018, now has been delayed by more than 4 yrs.

Thank you yong1985cm, straight to the point. High receivables is the bane that perhaps is the one major similarity that these 2 companies share. The comforting difference in Cypark's case is the knowledge that their projects are visible/exist/tangible.

come on guys...please understand the business model before you start to curse cypark's receivable... most of its receivables will only be reduced once the LSS2,3 & WTE starts to commission... Cypark is financing the entire project and they will only get paid once the plants is completed... Once the plant starts to produce electricity and resell it to TNB and yet no sign of improvement on its receivable, thn i think this company is gg.com

Everyone already knows the problem CYPARK has with it's cashflow. No doubt there is risk, but at this price and PE, it's quite a steal. Potential for major gains in 1-2 years time. Consolation - the receivables are to be due from TNB.
