Because of difficulty experienced in complying with the licensing and regulatory requirements. KPJ disposed PT Khidmat Perawatan Jasa Medika (KPJM) at price of RM28 mil, this is higher by RM12.16 mil if compare to it buy price during year 2012 at RM15.84 mil. Thus, in my opinion, nothing is bad for KPJ in this trade.

KPJ Indonesian hospitals recording revenue RM56.9Mil and Loss before tax 9.8Mil in 2019. Private healthcare mostly served T20 and M40 population thus higher living standard a country is more population willing to choose better healthcare system like Singapore.

The best thing of being a Substantial Shareholder is they can receive daily, weekly, monthly and etc performance result of the company. CFO in-charge will email to them how company financially operated. EPF received 11% from employees salary and 12% from employers on monthly basic which need to be constantly invest in stock, bond and money market. They will choose a portfolio of good company to invest and in long term the value of the company performance will reflect to the stock price. Those company's price already reflected to the company performance will be selected to sell off and distributed to the pension package. We can look carefully how this system work and how to get some insider news to pick our own stock portfolio.

Vaccines in developing now are mRNA, DNA or Antigen of virus which is 100% safe unlike conventional vaccines made from weak virus which could hv infectious potential. The only considering is how effective those vaccine give us immune against the virus. Faster a population to be vaccinated and eliminated the virus from mutation is the victory for us.

After 08 financial crisis, KPJ price surged on Oct 2008 from RM0.145 (after adjusted bonus, right and subdivision) to all time high on Jul 2013 to RM1.22 of 741% increased. This is still one of the safest stocks without much price fluatuation which give out decent dividend every three months. The next dividend is expected to be declared again by end of this month. 'Goreng kaki' can go to gloves, masks and technology stocks.

Recovering gradually. KPJ have been seeing improvements in its operational metrics following the relaxation of MCO starting from the month of May. Outpatient footfall (April: 130,327, May: 165,680, June: 197,398) and bed occupancy rate (April: 27%, May: 31%, June: 39%) have been gradually improving, despite it has yet to return to pre-Covid levels. Number of surgeries performed (April: 3,377, May: 4,586, June: 7,053) has also been on an uptrend.

Regardless herd immunity or vaccination, covid-19 will end someday. But KPJ never stop expansion of business with 4 hospitals (KPJ Bandar Dato’ Onn, KPJ Batu Pahat, KPJ Perlis and KPJ Miri) opened in last 2yrs. With the recovery in progress, those appointment and procedure were postponed during lock down/MCO MUST return. Following quarter will see significant increase in demand and occupancy rate. Let see better and surprise quarter result for KPJ.

As expected it hit a low of 0.82. If Dow is red, you can look at 0.78-0.79. This counter needs another 6 months to prove itself and with the recent KMC problem,odds are piling up against a move upwards
