Agree. Speculative counters's price especially the price of penny stocks not so much dependent on fundamental. It's price is relatively cheap, therefore almost small retailers like to invest in it, and always be a goreng counter by promoters / sharks.

But, for me I have a limitation refering to my earlier statement.
I'm not a highly risk taker.

I won't touch a company with a bad fundamental base if:

1. I found that the company is a candidate for delisting exercise by BURSA.

2. I found that the company has a high risk to be listed as PN17 or GN3 listed issuer.

3. I found that the company has a high risk to do share consolidation exercise. Yes. Literally and also has been taught in accounting class that in principle, share consolidation exercise won't change the shareholder's value of owning certain quantity of shares in certain company, but my experiences on a number of company who did the share consolidations gave me different taught. I had my own experiences @Kanger, Trive and Nexgram. All were nightmares..

Actually we were are in BSKL Trading Biz guys and we are already considered risk takers or other unpleasant word is Big Gamblers! The volatility of speculative counters is a function of Manipulations (evil side), sentiments and etc. The theories of Fundamentals as I said earlier are not always true in this context. It’s because we are talking about trading Not Investment. Yes there are counters which are fundamentally strong and give high dividends yearly but their price are not volatile and aggressive like speculative counters. Lastly, Whoever dares to take the challenge and try to gamble their luck of this year then they should remain onboard, but those who don’t then perhaps should stay away from this counter. Someone’s jackpot nobody knows but yesterday proved some traders (especially contra players) and short term investors have walked away with whopping fortunes handsomely. But my advice pls stay tuned with your trusted brokers who have better insights than us about the operator’s game!
