why now bursa cut the stock price after dividend?? it is illegal..company use their cash to pay out dividend...not using the stock price..why now bursa become like unit trust??

Today there is a batch of call warrants issued by RHB IB with strike price of $5 expiring. RHB will ensure the price of Digi won't pass $5 or else they have to vomit out all the $$$ paid by those who bought their warrants.

I just sold everything on DIGI. Held it for 3 months (I held on longer for other stocks before), but I think I gave this particular counter enough time already. I am open to any suggestions (inspiration) on what else to buy^^.

Just like to point out something here. I hold both Digi & Maxis for more than 2 yrs. When prices were down a while back (paper loss). I thought of interchanging them ( meaning selling Digi & buying Maxis) because i used to see Maxis moving faster that Digi. But i wasnt too sure of the outcome ( meaning lose more than as it is) but one thing i should have done done was exchanging them when the sen prices were the same ( eg Digi x.55 & Maxis y.55). As of today my bottom line, Maxis is in the black and i am still losing in DIgi by about 8%, as of todays price. My entry prices are mixed in both as i bought thme over a few month period. Just sharing my personal trading experience. No intention to influence or encourage/discourage your trades. And thanks Junichiro, for your viewpoint, yes i too noticed call warrants of another share also behaving like what you described. Lets share our views here. Thanks in advance.

Thanks! It is always interesting to learn how long investors hold on to the stocks (including factors like inflation). I have also held stocks for years, enjoying seeing them appreciate in value over time. But sometimes, I hold on to them simply because the entry price was too high (alas "buy low sell high" is a simple rule to understand but difficult in practice^^). For curiosity, what is the longest time any of us had held on to a stock (not because of the long term investment, but because the exit price was not good enough for sell)? I held one for 16 months waiting for the price to recover before selling a solid profit.

In my opinion, it will follow Maxis. Just wait for Maxis to jerk up about 10-20 sen. then the laggard Digi will follow after a few days. I think it is on the way up, albeit very slowly

4.98 another 2c will reach 5.00. Remember a few months back it went up like 25c per day..... only if the fund managers wanted it. Sometines i think there are two groups... one wants to maintain the price , the other wants to push it up. Both have lots of cash and shares. Just like today, seller insits on selling at 4.95, although big buyer wants to buy at 4.96. Seller always pushes the price down to .95 with just 50000-100000 shares. Just watch carefully next time. It happens. Maybe there is a motive. Can zomeone with links to big buyers share some info please?
