I using orange data, they give me 10GB for rm68, end of day i only able to used 100mb...wakakakakaka korek korek korek korek sampai u mati. Coverarea not strong give u 10000GB also useless la...

All telcos are derated. Expect their gearing to go up come 2017 when spectrum fees for the rest of its bands are up for payment. Their divi are expected to decrease. Just look at Axiata ....

People sure throw lah. Next year, telcos have to borrow again to fork out a big sum of $$$ to pay for spectrum again as another few spectrum are expiring. PPl are expecting divi of abt 15 cts from the current 20 cts per annum.

Telcos are no longer to retrace their previous highs.
I expect Digi to be in the range of 4xx -5.00
Maxis to be in the range of 5xx - 6.00
Axiata to be in the range of 4xx - 5.00

Despite this poor performance, the Management Discussion & Analysis keeps painting a rosy picture - telling all and sundry about robust postpaid growth & solid EBITDA margins etc.

It's like somebody smelling shit & telling all - "mmmm ... smells really delicious. Can't wait to sink my teeth into it".

Am I alone on this view or are there others who agree?

All telcos are adjusting to the new 'normal'. Digi used to trade above $6.00. But the new normal requires it to trade between the range of $4-$5.00.

It still pays a divi abt 200.00 per yr. Business is still OK. Other stocks just paying 60.00 in divi per yr n u can see ppl clapping hands.

To me, it is just adjusting to a new reality. If u have accumulated it above $5.00, u will have to keep it for ages.

topline and bottomline recorded are one of the lowest in recent years. dividend keep dropping. i think investor should seriously consider adjusting to the new norm for telco. dun forget bank fd rate will be higher in future, soon gonna catch up with divvy rate that digi can offer.
