President Trump needs credits for his score card in the coming 2020 Presidential Election. Trump didn't close a deal during the Trump-Kim 2nd Summit. So he is eager for a deal with China. Otherwise China may use the recent 737 Max-8 crushes as reason to cancel orders with Boeing, pose obstacles to Apple in the Chinese Market, disapproves Tesla Automotive sales in China, etc. These actions from the Chinese Government will force the Dow to fall back to the dark Christmas 2018 level - 21,729.53, or worst.
