Is that consider a good result? All sector deliver poor result except logging and Timber Trading Segment.
Property side as expected GDV 240 mil (maiden project, the
GardenHill, Melbourne, Australia). Recognize 58% this QR, remaining 42% in subsequent QR. (One-off).

More projects coming! They are selling more Local and Aussie projects in terms of property segment. Timber is contributing in a steady mode now. Next is the Gemas project! Also, they said they are tending project with contract value worth Billions.
Good that Fajar has gained more attention from more mainstream media.

you mean one off gain from property? without margin contribute from property, fajar still record profit before tax of 15mil in Q3 2017 mainly contribute from log timber business.

Yes. totally agreed with lcng123! If you look at the Q2 & Q3 result properly, in Q2, accumulative PBT (log timber business alone) is RM 31.2mil where as total accumulative Q3 PBT (log timber business alone) is RM 55.4 mil. Which means this Q3 alone, PBT (log timber) locked in RM 24.2 mil! In fact, log timber business is actually the biggest profit contributor to Fajarbaru, the so called one off gain rank only second , which contribute RM 37.5mil.

Also, the log & timber business is always in the steady production rate of above 30k cubic metres since February till April. I foresee the same production capacity will continue until end of the year (if you look at the last year monthly production report), which log & timber business will definitely add in more revenue and profit to the account book of 2017!
