Progressive Impact awarded RM8.46m sewerage treatment plant job in Port of Tanjung Pelepas

KUALA LUMPUR (May 12): Progressive Impact Corp Bhd (PICORP) has won an RM8.46 million contract to construct a sewerage treatment plant in Port of Tanjung Pelepas.

PICORP said its wholly-owned subsidiary Alam Sekitar Malaysia Sdn Bhd (ASMA) signed the eight-month contract today with Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), which is 70%-owned by MMC Corporation Bhd.

Under the contract, ASMA will undertake the construction of module two of the sewerage treatment plant, while upgrading module one of the plant and remedying any defects present.

Noting that ASMA had delivered a similar sewerage treatment plant project, PICORP said today’s contract signifies PTP’s confidence in ASMA’s proven experience and strength in the segment.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings per share of PICORP for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2020 until 2021,” the group added.

PICORP shares closed half a sen or 5.26% lower at nine sen, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM59.22 million.

Yes this counter is not well followed and much unappreciated hence undervalued. It is profitable and giving dividends at a very good yield on top.

PICORP basically involved in technology based businesses related to mainly environmental and laboratory services, areas that not only unaffected by COVID 19 but will benefit from it instead. However it has always been under radar and low profile.

Good bargained at 11.5 cts.
Quite long time not much volume as per today.
If can secured big contract related to C-19 then can move higher.
However luckyl got some dividen.

PICORP should try and get more valuable contract.
So far not many investors really interested with PICORP though considered a good dividen master and currently
missing in actions.

Come on,add value to the share price to at least 0.20 cts

Tommorow can slowly topup.
It has been laggards for quite sometimes and left out as though not exist in BURSA.
Nothing to worry too much on PICORP cz can at least give good dividen.
Any movements is extra money.
