"Oil prices fell on Thursday, extending declines into a fourth day, after official data showed U.S. stockpiles of products like gasoline rose sharply last week, suggesting weak demand during the peak driving season."

"Brent crude futures were down 15 cents, or 0.2%, at $63.51 a barrel by 0044 GMT. They fell 1.1% on Wednesday."

If crude oil rise Petronas will explore more and in-store new rigs

Conversely, if crude oil prices fall then Petronas will decommission and dismantle more oil well platforms

On hand for Uzma is the building of new oil rig platform plus 3 more on standby

The difference is Uzma share price traded at 50% discount to Dayang

7 factors for Uzma

1. Uzma downgraded by 3 IBs just because of 1 qtr weakness. So the sell down now overdone

2. Kwap relentless disposing. Now only very few left to sell and will soon be over

3. Uzma fundamentally strong with
a) manageable debt
b) secured jobs that are ongoing
c) High margin of safety. Price less than 50% of Net Assets

4. Aug and Nov 2019 barring u forseen circumstances will report better results

5. Management is tendering for fresh jobs

6. As reported Petronas still got lots of decommissioning jobs of which Uzma is one of the main players

7. As long as Crude Oil level above USD50 the Rm30 millions capex for upstream oil and gas job awards will be on track

With all these defensive factors and positive prospects this time of weakness is our last opportunity to accumulate cheap

Oil price down might not affect Uzma's prospects.

Why?

Answer:

Uzma is a well diversified oil conglomerate for both good and bad times

Because in bad times when oil price down Petronas will decommission more oil rig platforms

And that means more business for Uzma.

Now in hand Uzma secured 22 decommissioning jobs

6 have been completed. 16 more to go.

And these jobs are of high revenue and profit for Uzma

These few days or week might be the last opportunity to get some Uzma on the cheap as KWAP will dispose its last remaining Uzma shares
