Business as usual but their cash flow will dwindle. Roadblocks and summons are enough to keep most people at home, and many will be tighter on cash. They wouldn't spend it as easily as before. I think most people will invest that money instead of putting it into FD

i dun think that will happen..it might happen to those red areas, but other areas shouldn't have any problem to run their business..its not like gomen will strict logistic movement..only casual non-business state-border-crossing movement will be strict

（吉隆坡12日讯）鉴于全球手套供应短缺，国内手套公司巨头顶级手套（TOPGLOV，7113，主板保健股）和贺特佳（HARTA，5168，主板保健股）管理层均认为，未来手套平均售价（ASP）还有上升空间。

联昌证券研究分析员指出，根据贺特佳的说法，手套平均售价会在2021财政年第三和末季，分别按季上升50%及40%。

贺特佳也认为，由于冠病疫情造成医疗和非医疗领域，对手套的需求旺盛，未来两年手套需求会每年短缺1200亿只。

该公司补充，尽管既有和新进手套公司皆积极扩充产能，但碍于原料供应吃紧、难取得充足劳动力、为遵守1990年工人住宿环境及基本设施最低标准法令（446法令）推高生产成本、疫情持续肆虐影响建厂进度，各公司新产能恐追不上市场需求。

贺特佳已为新一代综合手套制造广场（NGC）第7号厂，建造3条产线，年产量达27亿只手套。其余3条产线，则预计在2021财政年末季完工。

顶级手套也向分析员指出，其手套平均售价料在今年1月和2月，按月上涨15%及10%。3月平均也极可能升高至少5%。

券商给予买入评级

分析员也预估，在去年12月，顶级手套的丁腈手套平均售价，为每1000只113美元（约459令吉）。

顶级手套也已答应会继续加强员工住宿环境，包括将3200名员工，搬迁到可容纳5000人的宿舍。另外，该公司亦会拨出1亿9500万令吉，未来1至2年内，在现有工厂附近建造和购买员工宿舍。

顶级手套有信心，在满足446法令后，美国海关和边境保护局（CBP）将撤销产品入境禁令。

在投资建议方面，分析员均给予贺特佳和顶级手套“增持”评级，目标价分别设在19.50及8.90令吉。

若手套平均售价高于预期，分析员或会上调投资评级。

今天闭市，贺特佳报13.25令吉，涨92仙或7.53%，成交量1087万2800股。

至于顶级手套报6.68令吉，涨25仙或3.89%，成交量7479万100股。

CGS-CIMB said Hartalega believed that there would be a global shortage of 120 billion gloves annually for at least the next two years, due to higher demand from both healthcare and non-healthcare sectors, owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Despite aggressive capacity expansion plans from both existing and new glove makers, demand is unlikely to be fully offset by the incoming new capacity.

“This is given difficulties in securing raw material supply, not having sufficient workforce, higher costs to comply with Act 446 (of the Workers’ Minimum Standards of Housing and Amenities Act 1990) and construction delays due to the ongoing pandemic.”

imho, there will continually be shortage of gloves worldwide bcos covid19 could not be eliminated even though vaccines are available. vaccines is not 100 percent full proof and many need to be vaccinated for herd immunity. Can this be done for whole world population? further virus continues to mutate as they are biological agent to adapt and survive. Vaccine may not be effective for new variants...there are also many anti- vaccine around... in conclusion PPE & SOP are the main line of defense for this pandemic...
