High time that JF Apex will need to upgrade their call on the stock. There are many infrastructure works which are up for grab and I have not hear that this company has fail. 6 - 7x PE appears cheap at current prices based on the fundamentals provided
We initiate coverage on Gadang with a BUY recommendation and an SOP-derived MYR2.73 TP (29% estimated upside return). Gadang established itself as a niche player in the large-scale earthworks segment of the construction sector. We like the group for its strong earnings visibility over the next 2-3 years and potential to win new contracts from the rise of infrastructure works locally. The stock trades at undemanding P/Es of 6-7x for FY16F-18F.
Market is correcting itself on the Gadang share price, when price was so low with PE about 5+, I put in mostly all my monies in Gadang, & now still holding.
When historial past 4 years' average PE was 7.35, why sale when PE is still below 7?
While Capital City 21 is started to deliver its profits, don't forget Gadang still have PRIMA1 housing development in Cyberjaya.
Furthermore, many are agreeable & optimistic to the ability of the Management to get MRT2 & Rapid2 Projects, where can it go?
Construction I mean here is 'special construction '... Other company who do not get this special construction Holland is waiting them. However they very smart stop many project and wait the market digest their early product first.
Now normal dwelling house need 500k above,you need pay 3000++ every month by borrow 30 year loan from bank. Besides,your income need at least 10k then bank only lend money to you. Thus,I don't think the housing price can sustain.

Kansc, professional lines are getting tougher & not so popular compared to last time. More & stricter requirements & most importantly, very difficult to get staff.
Nowaday young people have more choices in career, thus making less people want to go to professional lines like accountants, doctors, lawyers, qs, engineers. Why? Because all professional firms need to do ot, rush deadlines, one man do 3 men works, list goes on.
Open professional firm is no difference from other businesses/industries, you need to get new clients/business, provide services or do the work, make sure get paid, chase payment, incur costs, blah blah blah.
Getting license does not mean you will succeed, you still need to fight for new business.
Whatever you do, focus & commit into it, you will anyway get good reward. Audit & tax are both good, depend on your personal preference.
Professional line is very good. Try to imaging if you have professional knowledge + unprofessional skill and your competitor only have unprofessional skill... Many of my friend getting out from professional field....everyday they keep cari luband...some from professional field also keep car lubang lol...dunno why.
Property now become worse because of truly oversupply in market now. few years ago when there's some free lunch packages like DIBS, low interest rates that allows people no need to spend single cent for down payment and able to own few properties at once caused the problem to next few years especially those new vped properties flood into the market at the same moment.
At least few years for the surplus to be absorbed by the demands. Hahaha

Gadang will announce in end jan and the stock will keep heading to north until result out. If result can exceed 20m net profit than gadang will exceed rm 3. Gadang PE super attractive as compare to MITRA. One of the best in the industry
If you say next year is construction year....mean all construction company is in good shape. But if you say next year is good to construction company who can get project from government which mean 100% sure hoseh. If you think next year is good to construction company try go to sapu those who without MRT and gov project company.... I send 1000 like for u.

We all know that both of you are long time Gadang shareholders & we all also know next year is construction play (if want specifically, that's government & petronas projects).
All construction firms with major businesses in building houses are all dead long long time ago, regardless listed or non-listed, all were squeezed with so little margin only, plus long payment terms.
nice to see healthy discussion on Gadang. More discussion means good interests. I have been holding Gadang for a long time. I am sure many silent readers too. My previous posting here would cover most of the FA portion. I just would like to add that people should start viewing Gadang more of laggard play that has the potential to play catch up to Mitra. The only difference between Mitra and Gadang is the orderbook volume. However, while orderbook is extremely crucial to the share price movement to Construction counters, what most people fail to notice is the ability of Gadang to have solid cashflow and profit margin compared to many construction counters.
