Look at the graph for corn price. It has fallen in Q3 and expected to ease the cost pressure. Egg price also increased a lot in Q3 compared to Q2. This is confirmed by the management itself where oversupply situation in Q2 has been addressed in Q3. Shop around and you will notice egg price has gone up.

Worst is over. Short-term rebound TP rm0.70.

I buy moved from condo to landed house also took more loan what.

For me it is healthy expansion plan.

@ramada True that Lay Hong has RM250mil debt and I agree it's a bit on the high side. However, the quarterly report clearly says the short-term borrowing mostly comprises of banker's acceptance used to purchase biological assets and inventories, ie. chicken and raw materials. They are currently expanding and have to borrow money to buy all these things.

On long-term borrowing, they are term loans used to finance the construction of layer farms and broiler farms. As what Underdog888 has pointed out, these are all good debts used to finance business expansion. The company knows that rights issue, bonus issue etc are bad for shareholder's value as thus chose to get debt.

Also, RM250mil shouldn't be compared side-by-side to the cash in hand. Quarterly finance cost is around RM3mil. So long Lay Hong recovers in the coming quarter and earns average of RM10mil, the payment of finance cost is not a problem.
