Inari PBT dropped 32.8% this q compare to last year q though.
MPI have dropped from RM34 to yesterday low RM25plus. may be the market has already factored in the worst? today went up 5%. even at today's close it is still about 20% down. i am not sure if MPI is a good comparison as Inari is still quite high from 2023 height 3.15ish...

@huatkia, lemme know if i got the wrong number, MPI's june qtr inventory was 149mil, its March qtr was 165mil; their receivables in june qtr was 318mil, higher than March qtr but not the highest; comparing to Inari's receivables of 411mil, its the highest in so many yrs, and inventory of 183mil, highest in the past 3yrs. Though these numbers may not translate into net profits, but we can see the business volume from here, to a certain extent.

The 7nm chip inside Huawei Mate 60 which provided by SMIC were mostly double DUV exposure (which is an idea from the Taiwanese chief). The manufacturing cost was high (since higher fail rate), and there are doubt on actual mass production. Compare with the 4nm Qualcomm chip which manufacture by TSMC inside my 5G mobile phone, there are gap, and the industry doesn't optimist on SMIC to go further (as from 7nm to 5nm or 4nm) they need to build new pipeline and usually comes with new fab.
China still far behind the west and its Asian alliance on semiconductor.
