3.5 million workers but 99% not Malaysians but foreign workers
"With Southeast Asian economies in the balance – especially Indonesia and Malaysia – the fruit producers must address growing concerns about environmental and employee abuses without losing their competitive edge"
Blatant open burning of plantation fields which causes environment pollution, land grabbing which contributes to homelessness and city squatting. and unemployment, when citizens are shoved aside in favour cheap foreign workers.
Toxic greed have met divine intervention and soon palm plantation will follow the fate of rubber. ================================================== Posted by DickyMe > Jan 29, 2018 10:17 AM <<<<<<<<******<<<<

@DickyMe. I suppose you are referring to western countries, the main complainants. 1. Just ask you are they our main buyer? 2. No doubts to a certain extent opening burning is a harm to environment , will they buy from you if you stick to their guidelines? 3. Are they protecting their soya bean?
1. Just ask you are they our main buyer? I don't follow and care about it
2. No doubts to a certain extent opening burning is a harm to environment , will they buy from you if you stick to their guidelines? As a businessman, do you sell your product at your whim or cater according to customer's need? Which do you think will keep your business going?
3. Are they protecting their soya bean? I don't think they have Asian mentality of protecting their interest.
Don't dream of reaching IPO price, it cannot even breach RM1.50. With ringgit appreciating revenue after conversion will be low. Product will be expensive and add with snubbing, palm oil will be like rubber.

If stupid BN can overpay for Eagle High why smarter PH cannot overpay for FGV to win Felda votes?
