KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia ditutup lebih tinggi pada Khamis, didorong oleh aktiviti belian membabitkan produk dan perkhidmatan perindustrian, teknologi serta perladangan dalam persekitaran sentimen pasaran serantau yang bercampur-campur, kata peniaga.

Pada 5 petang, indeks petunjuk utama FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) naik 13.34 mata atau 0.93 peratus kepada 1,450.32 daripada 1,436.98 pada akhir urus niaga semalam.

Indeks utama yang dibuka menokok 4.18 mata kepada 1,441.60, berlegar dalam jajaran 1,440.05 hingga 1,451.33 sepanjang sesi dagangan hari ini.

Kaunter Petronas Chemicals Group, Press Metal Aluminium Holding dan Sime Darby membantu kenaikan indeks komposit sebanyak 4.39 mata selepas masing-masing meraih 17 sen kepada RM8.72, sembilan sen kepada RM4.39 dan tujuh sen kepada RM4.26.

Di pasaran meluas, kaunter untung mengatasi rugi iaitu 589 berbanding 301 manakala 396 kaunter lain tidak berubah, 1,002 tidak diniagakan dan lapan yang lain digantung dagangannya.

Bagaimanapun, jumlah dagangan berkurangan kepada 2.13 bilion unit bernilai RM1.38 bilion daripada 2.47 bilion unit bernilai RM1.41 bilion pada Rabu.

Sementara itu, Naib Presiden Penyelidikan Ekuiti Rakuten Trade Sdn Bhd, Thong Pak Leng, berkata di peringkat pasaran serantau, indeks-indeks utama menyaksikan aliran bercampur-campur ketika pelabur berhati-hati menjelang mesyuarat dasar monetari Bank Pusat Eropah (ECB).

"Pada masa sama, Bank Pembangunan Asia (ADB) bertindak menyemak turun unjuran pertumbuhan bagi negara-negara sedang membangun Asia bagi tahun ini dan berikutnya.

"Ini sekali gus menggambarkan kesan penyusutan ekonomi akibat perang Russia di Ukraine dan tindakan bank pusat mengenakan langkah mengetatkan ekonomi secara agresif bagi meredakan inflasi susulan kebimbangan berlakunya kemelesetan.

"Mengulas prestasi bursa tempatan, kami juga bimbangkan mengenai kesan ketidaktentuan ketara yang membabitkan pasaran serantau. Oleh itu, kami menjangkakan berlakunya aktiviti pengambilan untung," katanya kepada Bernama.

Sehubungan itu, beliau menjangkakan, FBM KLCI mencatat dagangan mendatar dalam jajaran 1,440 hingga 1,455 menjelang hujung minggu ini dengan paras rintangan segera pada 1,410 manakala rintangan pada 1,460.

Saham wajaran tinggi menyaksikan Maybank meraih 10 sen kepada RM8.70, Public Bank naik satu sen kepada RM4.44, IHH Healthcare meningkat empat sen kepada RM6.47, CIMB Group menambah tujuh sen kepada RM5.16 manakala Tenaga Nasional Bhd naik enam sen kepada RM7.98.

Bagi saham aktif, Focus Dynamics Group menambah setengah sen kepada 2.5 sen, Top Glove meraih satu sen kepada RM1.00, Dagang NeXchange menokok 1.5 sen kepada 76.5 sen manakala MMAG Holdings susut setengah sen kepada 4.5 sen dan Bintai Kinden Corporation merosot 1.5 sen kepada 10.5 sen.

Di papan indeks menyaksikan Indeks FBM Emas naik 101.94 mata kepada 10,301.91, Indeks FBM Emas Syariah menokok 110.34 mata kepada 10,409.75, FBM 70 melonjak 153.06 mata kepada 12,384.09, Indeks FBMT 100 meningkat 99.96 mata kepada 10,059.10 dan FBM ACE menambah 54.67 mata kepada 4,743.09.

Bagi sektor pula, Indeks Perladangan meraih 109.27 mata kepada 6,898.53, Indeks Perkhidmatan Kewangan melonjak 149.56 mata kepada 16,216.42, Indeks Tenaga meningkat 5.05 mata kepada 636.84 dan Indeks Produk dan Perkhidmatan Perindustrian naik 3.11 mata kepada 176.98.

Jumlah dagangan di Pasaran Utama berkurangan kepada 1.22 bilion saham bernilai RM1.20 bilion berbanding 1.65 bilion saham bernilai RM1.20 bilion pada Rabu.

Waran susut kepada 300.45 juta unit bernilai RM61.07 juta berbanding 328.62 juta unit bernilai RM76.62 juta sebelumnya.

Di Pasaran ACE, jumlah dagangannya meningkat kepada 607.10 juta saham bernilai RM118.95 juta daripada 483.39 juta saham bernilai RM131.05 juta sebelum ini.

Selain itu, kaunter produk dan perkhidmatan pengguna menyumbang 198.01 juta saham yang didagangkan di Pasaran Utama manakala produk dan perkhidmatan perindustrian (449.99 juta), pembinaan (29.65 juta), teknologi (173.33 juta), SPAC (sifar), perkhidmatan kewangan (43.06 juta), hartanah (94.84 juta), perladangan (22.78 juta), REIT (4.75 juta), dana/tertutup (2,000), tenaga (79.01 juta), penjagaan kesihatan (73.09 juta), telekomunikasi dan media (26.37 juta), pengangkutan dan logistik (15.11 juta) serta utiliti (10.66 juta).

KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia mengekalkan aliran peningkatannya pada awal dagangan Jumaat, sejajar dengan kenaikan berterusan Wall Street berikutan pendapatan korporat Amerika Syarikat (AS) yang lebih kukuh, kata seorang penganalisis.

Pada 9.15 pagi ini, FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) naik 4.66 mata kepada 1,454.98 daripada 1,450.32 pada akhir Khamis.

Indeks petunjuk utama itu dibuka meningkat 0.77 mata kepada 1,451.09.

Di pasaran meluas, kaunter untung mengatasi rugi iaitu 172 berbanding 123 manakala 206 kaunter tidak berubah, 1,795 tidak diniagakan dan lapan lain digantung dagangannya.

Jumlah dagangan sebanyak 145.83 juta unit bernilai RM57.16 juta.

Sementara itu, Malacca Securities Sdn Bhd dalam nota tinjauannya hari ini berkata, kenaikan semalaman Wall Street itu turut memaparkan bahawa sokongan belian terhadap bursa tempatan kekal kukuh.

"Sektor teknologi dijangka meraih momentum susulan peningkatan semula Nasdaq.

"Malah, ramai pelabur berkemungkinan cenderung terhadap saham-saham automotif selepas Persatuan Automotif Malaysia (MAA) meningkatkan unjuran jumlah keseluruhan industri (TIV)," katanya.

Pada masa sama, Malacca Securities berkata beberapa aktiviti pengambilan untung dijangka berlaku dalam sektor teknologi akibat penurunan harga minyak mentah.

Menurut firma pembrokeran itu, biarpun susut, minyak mentah itu masih didagangkan pada paras harga melebihi AS$103 setong selepas Libya bertindak meningkatkan pengeluaran apabila sekatan berkaitan ditarik balik.

Dalam pada itu, saham wajaran tinggi menyaksikan Maybank naik lima sen kepada RM8.75, Public Bank menokok tiga sen kepada RM4.47, IHH Healthcare dan CIMB Group masing-masing meraih dua sen kepada RM6.49 dan RM6.49 manakala Petronas Chemicals turun lapan sen kepada RM8.64.

Bagi saham aktif, Cypark Resources turun satu sen kepada RM34.5 dan Bintai Kinden Corporation susut setengah sen kepada 4.5 sen dan Sarawak Consolidated Industries dan ATA IMS naik satu sen masing-masing kepada 17 sen dan 31 sen manakala Widad Group menambah setengah sen kepada 38.5 sen.

Di papan indeks pula, Indeks FBM Emas naik 28.01 mata kepada 10,329.92, Indeks FBM Emas Syariah menokok 12.1532 mata kepada 10,421.90, Indeks FBM 70 meningkat 54.75 mata pada 12,438.84, Indeks FBMT 100 menambah 27.31 mata kepada 10,086.41 dan FBM ACE meraih 13.01 mata kepada 4,756.10.

Bagi sektor, Indeks Perladangan susut 11.22 mata kepada 6,887.31, Indeks Tenaga turun 0.61 mata kepada 636.23, Indeks Produk dan Perkhidmatan Perindustrian berkurangan 0.45 mata kepada 176.53 manakala Indeks Perkhidmatan Kewangan melonjak 70.15 mata kepada 16,286.57.

PEMAJU hartanah Mah Sing Group Bhd menyasarkan segmen kediaman M Series miliknya menyumbang lebih 70 peratus kepada sasaran jualan bernilai RM2 bilion bagi tahun ini.

Bercakap pada majlis perasmian galeri jualan segmen M Nova di Kepong baru-baru ini, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Kumpulannya, Datuk Ho Hon Sang berkata, pihaknya juga terus menawarkan produk yang menumpukan aspek mampu milik, kemampanan serta kualiti.

"Kami menyaksikan permintaan besar bagi hartanah dengan harga berpatutan di Lembah Klang berdasarkan peningkatan pertanyaan serta (kadar) penghunian yang baik bagi projek kami.

"Pembangunan kediaman mampu milik M Series yang merangkumi kediaman bertanah dan bertingkat, mencatat kadar penghunian yang baik. Kami yakin ini segmen yang menjadi pilihan pasaran dan sebagai pemaju yang berorientasikan rakyat, kami terus menawarkan kediaman sedemikian," katanya.

Selain itu, Ho berkata, M Nova adalah projek ketiga Mah Sing di Kepong selepas Lakeville Residence dan M Luna.

Lakeville dilancarkan beberapa tahun lalu manakala M Luna diperkenalkan ketika pandemik pada 2020 dan setakat ini, kadar penghunian M Luna mencecah 95 peratus.

Sementara itu, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Subsidiari Hartanah Mah Sing Yeoh Chee Beng mengakui terdapat permintaan di Kepong iaitu lokasi M Nova yang bersempadan Selayang.

Beliau menjangkakan pembangunan bercampur-campur M Nova itu turut mencatat kejayaan seperti Lakeville dan M Luna berikutan lokasinya.

M Nova yang terletak di kawasan seluas 3.27 hektar dengan nilai pembangunan kasar RM790 juta, merangkumi tiga blok kediaman servis dan dilancarkan secara rasmi pada suku akhir 2022.

Sementara itu, dalam satu kenyataan, Pengasas dan Pengarah Urusan Kumpulan Mah Sing Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum berkata, kumpulan itu berhasrat menyerahkan pemilikan lebih 4,000 unit tahun ini yang menyumbang dari segi penampan tunai kukuh bagi aktiviti tanah simpanan kumpulan.

Mah Sing mempunyai baki tunai dan bank selain pelaburan dana jangka pendek yang bernilai RM1.01 bilion setakat 31 Mac, 2022.

KUALA LUMPUR (July 23): Bursa Malaysia is expected to continue its positive momentum next week on the back of improved market sentiment and risk appetite, as concerns about global inflation and recession have toned down, said an analyst.

Inter-Pacific Asset Management Sdn Bhd executive director and fund manager Datuk Nazri Khan Adam Khan said the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) is expected to trend between 1,450 and 1,480 next week.

“The heavyweight stocks are starting to recover and our market sentiment is getting better, especially in finance.

“The stocks have led Bursa Malaysia to be in positive territory last week as FBM KLCI broke its 4,600 resistance base within five trading days on Friday. It is an impressive performance,” he told Bernama.

Nazri also said support from Malaysia’s trading partners, especially China and the United States, had lifted the local bourse further.

“The US and China stocks ended higher supported by positive corporate earnings, especially in banking and technology sectors,” he said.

Back home, Nazri expects glove and banking stocks to see some movement in the coming week.

At Friday’s close, the FBM KLCI rose 15.48 points, or 1.07%, to 1,465.8 from Thursday’s close of 1,450.32.

On a weekly basis, the benchmark index expanded 47.36 points to 1,465.8, from 1,418.44 at the end of the previous week.

On the index board, the FBM Emas Index rose 348.19 points to 10,396.08, the FBM Emas Shariah Index increased 379.39 points to 10,461.74, the FBM 70 was 455.02 points higher at 12,450.03, the FBMT 100 Index climbed 338.09 points to 10,153.84, and the FBM ACE improved 229.34 points to 4,789.17.

Sector-wise, the Financial Services Index surged 442 points to 16,449.69, the Energy Index was 38.2 points higher at 642.84, and the Industrial Products and Services Index inched up 10.31 points to 177.04, while the Plantation Index added 210.52 points to 6,866.25.

Main Market volume was stronger with 6.8 billion shares valued at RM6.03 billion against 5.49 billion shares valued at RM4.2 billion in the previous week.

Warrants volume perked up to 1.53 billion units worth RM327 million versus 1.39 billion units worth RM256.9 million last week.

ACE Market volume jumped to 2.44 billion shares valued at RM572.31 million from 1.29 billion shares valued at RM346.46 million the week before.

“To curb the runaway inflation, the Fed has been stepping up the hike in interest rate to combat inflation. This resulted in a flat yield curve and at time inverted, risking a US recession. The US 9.1% inflation in Jun-22 may be the peak as prices of certain commodities have started to come down as early as Mar and more obvious price declines were seen in June. Falling commodity price will make the Fed less hawkish in its rate hike decision. This will also provide a relief to the stock market.”

KUALA LUMPUR (July 26): Pasukhas Group Bhd has clinched an RM11.34 million sub-contract from Salcon Engineering Bhd for the execution and completion of electrical works including cabling, earthing, external lighting and equipment installation for Water Treatment Plant Telibong II, Tamparuli in Sabah.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing on Tuesday (July 26), Pasukhas announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Pasukhas Sdn Bhd (PSB) has accepted a letter of confirmation of award (LCA) from Salcon Engineering for the sub-contract works, which shall be completed within five months.

“The LCA is in line with the company’s expansion of business and strategy to increase the company’s revenue,” it said.

Pasukhas’ share price settled 33% or half a sen higher at two sen, bringing a market capitalisation of RM38.1 million.

PETALING JAYA: It appears that foreign investors are slowly making their way back to Malaysian stocks, providing much-needed support for Bursa Malaysia at a time when local institutional funds have turned net sellers.

In the trading week ended July 22, foreign investors were net buyers for four out of five days, amounting to a net foreign inflow of RM191.3mil in the week.

This compared with two out of four days in the week ended July 15, two out of five days in the week ended July 8 and one out of five days in the week ended July 1.

While it is too early to tell, market experts think there is a glimmer of hope that foreign funds will increase their exposure in Malaysian stocks in the coming weeks.

Experts said the undemanding valuations of local stocks and the relatively good fundamentals will help attract foreigners back to the Malaysian equities universe.

The weak ringgit could also entice foreign funds, according to them.

“The Malaysian market is quite defensive, given the diversified nature of our stocks with the presence of high-yield stocks as well as technology and commodity-related companies,” Wong said, adding that such stocks provided refuge in times of uncertainty.

“Only two sectors saw foreign net outflows, which were industrial products and services at RM145.6mil and transport at RM2.5mil,” the research house said in its weekly fund flow report.

Wong mentioned that the foreign shareholding in the local bourse was currently at one of the lowest levels in Bursa Malaysia’s history.

“Foreign investors may see the opportunity to invest in local stocks, given the low foreign shareholding and low valuation,” he added.

CGS-CIMB Research, in a note yesterday, pointed out that foreign shareholdings of Malaysian equities stood at only 20.6% as at end-June 2022.

This compared starkly to the 27.4% foreign ownership back in April 2007.

“The declining trend in foreign shareholdings started in May 2018, specifically after the 14th general election on May 9, 2018 when Pakatan Harapan won a simple majority in Parliament, heralding the first change in government in Malaysia’s history.

“Since then, the foreign shareholding level has fallen 4.1 percentage points from its peak of 24.2% in March 2018 to a trough of 20.1% in February 2022 due to political uncertainty.

“However, recent net buying by foreign investors has led to a rebound in foreign shareholdings to 20.6% as at end-June 2022,” it said.

Year-to-date as of July 22, foreign investors had been net buyers for 18 out of the 29 weeks of 2022, with a total net inflow of RM6.11bil.

In comparison, foreign investors posted a net sell of RM3.2bil in 2021.

Local retailers have been net buyers for 19 out of 29 weeks of 2022. Year-to-date as of July 22, their net purchase value was RM1.78bil.

On the contrary, local institutions were net sellers for 22 out of 29 weeks, with a total net outflow of RM7.89bil.

Salcon engineering punya external auditor adalah KPMG. Salcon juga sanggup memberikan projek kpd pasukhas. Kepakaran pasukhas sungguh baik.. hanya pengarah2nya tak berapa jujur kerana loopholes in our corporate governance je :(

KUALA LUMPUR (July 27): OpenSys (M) Bhd has secured approval from the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) for the proposed transfer to the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd.

In a statement on Wednesday (July 27), the company, which was listed on the MESDAQ (now ACE) Market of Bursa Securities in January 2004, said it had fulfilled the requirement of achieving a minimum cumulative net profit of RM20 million in the past three years, despite the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent movement control orders.

OpenSys said the steady bottom line had enabled it to declare and distribute consistent dividends to shareholders on a quarterly basis since October 2018.

OpenSys chief executive officer Eric Lim said OpenSys’ steady profit and dividend track record even amid the challenging external circumstances was underpinned by its adaptive and resilient business model.

“We support our customers’ business growth with more roll-outs in the expansion phase, and sustain their current suite of services by providing continuous maintenance during economic uncertainty,” he said.

“We will continue to maintain our existing segment of implementing crucial services for financial services, telecommunications and utilities providers.

“This is poised to further strengthen as we develop and implement solutions to support our customers’ digitalisation initiatives,” he said.

At the midday break on Wednesday, OpenSys had dipped 1.59% or half a sen to 31 sen, with 97,900 shares traded.

看来这公司管理层的确是有问题的。。。每个季度都有千万的营业额进账。。。但每个季度都亏损。。。看起来公司上下每天都很忙碌。。。但年年忙碌。。老板只会每年告诉你"对不起！公司今年没赚钱。"年复一年同样的答案。。。甚至花红都给不出。。还要发esos叫员工来打救公司。。。常年大会也不曾见他们有何检讨和改进。。。养一大群的废物。。。不清理任由詛蚀危害公司。。。试问还有谁会对这家公司有信心去提升它的股价呢？看来管理层是需要大刀阔斧作出深入的改革才是正道吧！以上纯属个人看法及意见
