in general accepted accounting practice........there are spaces available for the creative accountant to explore and exploite and still within the legal compliance.......if you dun undestand this...dun come to stock market.......go to unit trust.....no point blame here and there......

actually, averaging down is not a good strategy...cut loss n buy at lower levels as u save the difference between selling price n buying price when price drops lower n lower...
