Rm0.40 is possible as conversion of warrant is rm0.395. Major shareholder will support the conversion which will generate more rm500 mill cash flow which are heavily required by velesto to reduce their debts. Warrant will expire in sept/ oct 2024

I think this is a broader market issue. Oil is still pumping but index is weak. Middle East region getting chaotic and once destabilize oil will rocket. I personally think it’s a buying opportunity. (Not financial advice)

Saudi Aramco's broader suspension of jack-up rigs. many jack-up contracts have been suspended. GG velesto.

Velesto shares set for worst day in 10 months as CGS flags concerns. A number of jack-up rig drilling companies have had their rig contracts suspended by Aramco in recent days, CGS flagged. These rigs may find their way to Southeast Asia and other regions, which may cap or even pressure utilisation rates and daily charter rates globally. Doooommmmm...the beginning of the END for Voles?

Buy buy buy. As long PNB hold it no need to worry. Got strong back from Petronas. CGS claiming is rubbish. Those rigs terminated by Aramco will go to Europe. European b
Pay high DCR. They not interested in southeast Asia.

Judo masters begin not by learning how to throw, but how to fall. They practice this skill until it's as natural as breathing. No matter how many times they're flipped, they can rise to fight again.

Highly successful stock pickers go through similar training: They must learn how to cut their losses short. This means selling a stock when it's down 7% or 8% from your purchase price.

Sounds simple, but many investors have learned the hard way how difficult it is to master the most important rule in investing. Doommmmm....

No one wants to sell for a loss. It's an admission that you made a mistake. But if you can set your ego aside, you can take a small loss and still be fit enough, both financially and mentally, to invest the next day. Cutting losses quickly prevents you from suffering a devastating fall that's too steep to recover from. Risk comes from not knowing what you are doing. Careful now!

DoomStock

The reasons why you bought a stock may no longer apply. Examine why you bought a stock in the first place and ask yourself if those reasons are still valid.
If something fundamental about the company or its stock changes, that can be a good reason to sell. For example:

The company's market share is falling, perhaps because a competitor is offering a lower rate globally.
Of course, this list isn't exhaustive. If something substantially changes that contradicts your investment thesis, that's one of the best reasons to sell.

Careful now..risk comes from not knowing what to do.

Similarly, it's usually a bad idea to sell a stock only because its price decreased. At the same time, though, sometimes you just have to cut your losses on a stock position. It's important to not let a drop in a stock's price prevent you from selling.

As legendary investor Warren Buffett says, "The most important thing to do if you find yourself in a hole is to stop digging." If your original reason for buying a stock no longer applies, or if you were just plain wrong about the company, then selling at a loss rather than continuing to hold may be your best option.

Indeed, risk comes from not knowing what to do..careful now!

Contracts already signed one not affected. By the time contract expired, Aramco probably ran back up the production.

What’s the point towing here and there?

These are the drilling companies that were affected by contract termination from Aramco.
1. ADES - saudi based drilling company
2. Shelf drilling (COSL) - owned by China petroleum
3. Valaris and borr drilling - owned by USA

All are established oil companies and mostly operate in midle-east for higher DCR. To remove this rigs to southeast Asia takes very long journey and not profitable
(except maybe for china drilling company). I'm 100% sure not for ADES and Valaris..mereka tak pandang pun perairan Malaysia...come on guys

Velesto’s rigs are mostly busy, with five of its six jack-up rigs fully-contracted until the end of this year, the spokesperson said. Four of the rigs are on long-term contracts lasting more than 12 months, the spokesperson said.

Further, three of Velesto’s jack-up rigs — Naga 2, Naga 4, and Naga 6 — have received two-year contract extensions from Malaysia’s national oil-and-gas company Petronas on March 22 worth some RM1.26 billion, the spokesperson noted.

Only two of its jack-up rigs — Naga 3 and Naga 5 — will see their contracts expire this year, the spokesperson said, adding that the company is monitoring the situation for its future bidding strategy, especially for mid-2026 onward.
