When Ire-Tex ICULS (Iretex-LA) and warrant (Iretex-WA) were first listed on June 16, confusion over the exercise and conversion terms of Iretex-LA created a big opportunity for arbitraging for the shareholders of Ire-Tex. While subsequent buying interest of Iretex-LA have narrowed the conversion discount of Iretex-LA, the ICULS is still trading at a much cheaper valuation than Iretex-WA.

Iretex now is 59sen. If use 8LA convert method now LA is underpriced. Fair value LA is 7.38sen or 13% upside.

爱尔德斯（IRETEX，7183，主板工业产品组）刚刚完成一项融资计划。该计划涉及通过发行4亿7001万单位面值7.5仙的不可赎回可转换债券，总共融资3525万令吉。爱尔德斯是以附加股方式以每股配4单位债券发行并派送免费凭单，比例是每8单位可转换债券送1凭单。该公司股项在新债券和凭单上市后走势强劲。该公司母股在上周五以76仙闭市。IRETEX-WA和IRETEX-LA则分别以18仙和12.5仙闭市。
爱尔德斯是一家一站式的包装解决方案的供应商。该公司在2014年3月结束的第一季取得了727万令吉的净盈利，比2013年同期的63万令吉增加十倍以上。不过该公司的盈利主要是从出售子公司取得。爱尔德斯的营业额其实是下跌了。

IRETEX-LA的面值是7.5仙而该公司股票的面值是40仙。该债券的转换价是60仙而债券持有人是有两个方法可以转换母股。如果IRETEX-LA持有人不要出钱，他们必需以8单位债券来换取1股。除了使用债券转换以外，IRETEX-LA持有者还有另外一项选择。他们可选择使用1单位债券再加上52.5仙的现金来“转换”母股。这导致IRETEX-LA有点像一项行使价为52.5仙的凭单。以目前价位来计算，使用现金行使债券竟然是折价的。这意味持有母股的投资者应该卖出母股而买进IRETEX-LA以取得14.5%的无风险套利。IRETEX-WA的最后交易价是18仙，比IRETEX-LA高不少。它的估价则相对非常昂贵。

股价近期大涨后爱尔德斯的股价已经价高市危。债券持有人若使用现金“行使”将导致母股供应大增，特别是可转换债券的发行量比母股多四倍。如果持有人纷纷使用现金“行使”，潜在新股总发行数量是4亿1125万股，比母股目前1亿1750万股多几倍。这个折价陷阱不可被忽略。

7.5sen for LA meaning 60sen for Iretex susah nak capaikah? Iretex directors has bought at 65sen before. As CWeed said selling 1 factory mean trim fat(more cash less workers) meaning good for shareholders.

In a discussion forum, it's healthier to have both d pros/cons on d table for ppl to make their own investment decisions.

What I can tell u is this, my friend, once a person has decided on a share ( invest/not) he/she will just go ahead without heeding anyone's advise. Also I think only a handful of ppl r reading this thread. Those who have invested look forward to optimistic point of views, those who have yet to invest will know what to do ( possibly, follow yr advise - for better /for worse ). Unless u r a shark n control d price, u can't be any wiser than us who gave different point of views. U agree? ;).

Anyway, ppl punt/invest at their own risk.

It is very simple to proof whether who are hire to get more people in trap. Tomorrow morning it edge up 0.5 cents and from there on continue too be down 0.065-0.06. No rocket science to LA as it has been consistently pushed up half cent in 1st hour of trade and never look back the rest of the day on daily basis since it dropped from 16 cents. Gua orang Hati baik, tak mau member member terus give duit raya pada Conmen and the gang of LA. Anyway, is your money, kalau u orang pikir gua Hati tak baik and happily allowing the Conmen keep your money and you keep the LA, by all means please do so. Ha haha
