JOKE OF THE DAY

Many years ago I bought a stock called Mancon. At that time (20 years ago) I was a newbie. I asked one expert to check on this counter called "Mancon". I was so happy because after I bought "Mancon" went limit up twice.

After he studied the details on "Mancon" he gave me a big surprise. He said from the look at all the losses after losses "Mancon" could still go double limit up. He said "Mancon" sounded like "Conman" in reverse.

I sold off all mancon shares and not long after "Mancon" went bankrupt and delisted.

I hope Corporate leaders do take into consideration when naming their companies.

Years back while staying in New York Hotel, Johor I met 2 company officials. One Hup Seng Biscuit Officer & another called Liqua selling spirulina.

Hup Seng was traded at about RM1.50 then - I can't remember LiQua. Both parties said their shares were good but Hup Seng said they always give a 10 cents dividend.

I didn't buy any. Hup Seng shot up to cross RM8.00 & LiQua went bankrupt.

One day I called my Remisier in KL about Liqua. He said in Cantonese "Li Qua"

Sounded like "Li - you and Qua - Die"

So in Cantonese LiQua means "You Die".

And Die it did. Hup Seng went up 600% & LiQua dropped to zero

I don't know about "ICON" Offshore. I hope everybody study carefully and nobody get conned.

dont worry, couple of weeks sure can go past $2.20, 3-6 month-$2.50, longterm can be like Gas Malaysia $1.00++ above ipo, as proxcy to Petronas, Billion Capex in few years. Shorterm Ikan Bilis Investor sure sell, worst if they borrow money to buy.

The weak share price has to do with the listing of boustead plantaion tomorrow. After the dust has settles, people will start to realised that Icon is a pure play OSV, derives > 70% revenue from petronas and govt owned. Do you think the govt want to lose $$$$$$?

HLIB tp is RM2.08.
Publicinvest Research tp is RM2.01.

those that hv patience will reap rewards in few week times with icon, let those ipo financing investor sell now, we reap profit later few week down the road. buy now 1.95 as few week reach Rm2.20-2.30 sure will regret. stay for longterm, better yet sell at Rm3.00++ after 1 year or so. Petronas will take care of Icon similar to Gas Malaysia. Petronas have Rm300Billion Capex man!!!
