Not sure if anyone remembers, but I recall in one of the video interview with William there is a mention about the profit margin being very small in the China contract. It's only the volume that speaks and not the profit, although the contract will contribute largely to the overall company's sales.

I was surprised to hear that because expecting future superb results, but cannot recall cause the interview was too long. Anyone recall?

3-5% is gross profit, not net profit. The net profit can be minus after deduction of operation cost and etc.

If that's true, then only profit of RM 8 million a year. That's the best case scenario for this contract.
And based on last 3 quarters, the losses already surpassed RM 20 million due to the lock down loss of sales in other countries.

No wonder price cannot move up with such tiny profit margin and the not-so-clear economy recovery which will further impact the overseas sales. Very hard to go back to pre-covid profit margin, not even with this vaccine contract which could be a one-off or small margin as well.
