大马拥抱5G 电讯大开财库‧兆光通讯笑开怀

尽管2020年才刚过1个月，但可以很肯定的说，5G会是今年的焦点投资主题之一。

在这科技当道的年代，大马政府为免再一次错失良机，如今正卯足全力发展电讯基建，立志成为拥抱5G的先驱国之一，好强化我国在世界舞台的竞争力。

受益于政府重点照顾，电讯界未来3年势必大开财库赶基建，这趋势让许多身处供应链的上市公司深深受惠，兆光通讯（BINACOM,0195,创业板电讯媒体组）便是笑开怀的公司之一。

成立于2004年的兆光通讯是家专门为通讯行业提供网络支援服务的公司，服务范围可分成3种，分别是卫星通讯网络、流动电讯网络和光纤通讯网络。

所谓支援服务，就比如当某公司需要卫星通讯网络服务，兆光通讯便能负责安装和启动用于衔接的小型卫星地面站（VSAT），及之后的长期维持维修工作，让顾客无后顾之忧。该公司在流动通讯和光纤通讯的运作模式亦是如此，都是帮顾客安装和启动所需基建设施，再负责维修维持。

在业界建立信誉和地位

除直接从最终客户（如电讯公司、商业机构）手中拿到工作，北光通讯也透过与设备供应商和制造商（如华为、OPCOM）合作，拿到不少承包工作；例如，当最终客户向华为购买通讯设备，华为就可能委任兆光通讯为承包商，负责安装与启动工作，也可能受委负责维持与维修。

过去15年的努力，加上2018年初上市马股提升了知名度和形象，兆光通讯在业界已建立起一定的信誉和地位，如今，绝大多数电讯公司、电讯设备供应商和制造商都是该公司的直接或间接客户，其中最大顾客是明讯（MAXIS）和华为（HUAWEI），分别与两家公司建立了长达13年和7年的合作关系，颇受两位大客信赖。

精通3大通讯基建服务有优势

上述完整的顾客网络，加上5G和总投资料高达216亿令吉的国家光纤化与连接计划（NFCP）刺激基建投资，兆光通讯所身处的领域展望一片大好，该公司精通3大类通讯基建服务也是优势所在，意味只要是涉及通讯基建的投资，不管是卫星通讯、流动通讯还是固定光纤通讯，都是该公司的潜在商机。

若数据能说话，那么，为国内4500座VSAT提供营运与维持服务，国内添油站使用的VSAT逾50%由该公司负责，另外为超过1万座流动通讯基站收发台（BTS）提供营运与维持服务，市占率超过20%。这些数据应该足以反映兆光通讯的能力与竞争力。

收入而言，则可分成一次性收入和经常性收入。当该公司协助顾客安装和启动基建设施，会获得一次性费用作为回报。不过一般上，该公司也会一并负责相关设施之后的长期营运和维修维持工作，而这便成为经常性收入来源。

根据过往记录，兆光通讯有超过50%的收入是经常性收入，业绩有一定的免疫力。

斥1500万建卫星传输设备

在卫星领域累积了多年经验后，兆光通讯如今正斥资近1500万令吉在大马科技园兴建属于自己的卫星传输设备，预计今年杪竣工，有关设备将能让兆光通讯提供新的卫星链接服务，若一切顺利，将会是另一经常性收入来源。

与立通国际各有各做

对于兆光通讯，有人或会拿来与笔者之前也曾谈过并纳入组合的另一家公司——立通国际（REDTONE,0032,创业板电讯媒体组）作比较，毕竟两家公司都是5G和NFCP的潜在赢家之一，因此在这里要稍微解释一下。

兆光通讯和立通国际的业务的确有相似之处，那就是兆光通讯的流动通讯业务，与立通国际旗下3大业务之一的管理电讯网络服务（MTNS），所提供服务非常相近，都是为电讯基建提供支援服务，有竞争不奇怪。

顾客来自私人界

然而若再看深入些，兆光通讯的顾客其实都来自私人界，立通的MTNS业务虽也有涵盖私人界，但强项却是大马通讯与多媒体委员会（MCMC）的乡区电讯基建，换句话说就叫“同一片海不同海域”，各有各做。

更何况，5G和NFCP所带来的百亿商机，也不是一两家公司能独揽独吞的，兆光和立通完全能和平共存，所以笔者才会把两家公司都纳入《股海组合》里，而不是只选一家，以期同时把握政府与私人界释出的诱人投资机会。

业绩有望重返升势

2018年初上市马股才不到半年，大马政府改朝换代，许多政策顿时生变，大市草木皆兵，许多公司急忙收紧开销，等待时局明朗。在这段过渡期里，兆光通讯业绩出现回调，加上对金融与契约资产进行拨备，2019财政年营业额按年下滑了4.5%，净利更锐减近50%至487万令吉。

不过，随电讯基建投资料从今年起飞，兆光通讯料渐渐受惠于市场复苏。单以营运层面而言，去年业绩估计已经近底，就看何时好转。

大客华为带来商机如上文所述，兆光通讯拥有很完善的业务网，国内主要电讯公司和供应商大多数是该公司客户。因此，一旦领域投资大量增加，兆光通讯便有机会左右逢源，成为赢家之一。

该公司大客之一的华为，凭著高质量科技研发在过去10年间迅速崛起，如今已贵为全球最大的通讯设备制造商，受市场看好能借助其在大马5G市场的领先优势，进一步渗透国内通讯市场，这间接为兆光通讯带来更多商机。

5G若要达90%覆盖率建电讯塔及开销成本75亿

除价值216亿令吉的NFCP，MCMC上周发布的5G特工队报告更估计，5G若要在大马达到90%人口覆盖率，还需要另外约1万座电讯塔，预计得花上51亿令吉来兴建，加上网络提升、系统和其他开销，总成本估计为75亿令吉，这再一次暗示在政府大力推动下，电讯基建投资将会迎来难以逆转的升势。

整体来说，兆光通讯拥有可观经常性收入加持，短期业绩保住盈余问题不大，专攻3大类电讯支援服务和完善顾客网，让该公司有浓厚机会捕获大量基建投资带来的契机，让业绩重返升势，加上市值不到9000万令吉，规模小但潜能大，不失为“小刀锯大树”的好选择。

BINACOM is simply Huawei 5G contractor, their expertise is providing satellite internet to rural area using VSAT (macam piring Astro). Just read the annual report and their website.
