Securemetric Bhd has won two contracts with a combined value of RM3.94 million to supply digital security solutions to Vietcombank.
Securemetric said in an exchange filing that the contracts, awarded to Securemetric Technology Co Ltd, its wholly-owned subsidiary in Vietnam, are expected to be completed in the financial year ending Dec 31, 2019 (FY19).
The first contract, worth US$590,568 (RM2.46 million), was awarded by Prognostic Services Pte Ltd, a regional mobile satellite telco services provider, for Securemetric to supply two-factor authentications solutions (2FA) and hardware security module (HSM) to Vietcombank.
The other contract was awarded by IT consulting services firm Information And Networking Technology Joint Stock Company (InfoNet), for 8.26 billion dong (RM1.48 million). Under this contract, Securemetric is to supply user licenses for 2FA, as well as install and integrate both 2FA and HSM for Vietcombank.
Vietcombank, listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, is one of Vietnam’s largest comercial banks by asset size and operates 111 branches throughout the country.
Good move, I think directors try to push down the share price below 0.20 to increase their share holdings as it is the only digital security company listed on Bursa...
Mr. Wudi, the warrant exercise price is 0.16 into one mother share it all depends on the mother share price when the warrant is listed, it will take around two weeks..
Remember, Malaysia is moving towards 5 G and high tech digital security is essential for big corporation like Bank and government institutions etc.... banks
Is the exercise price already listed? I couldnt get any info of it. Yes i am aware of that, very much. Only that its admin expenses is too high and consumed all profit, plus revenue not stable.
Therefore, free float should be less than 3 %, that's why SMETRIC always having problems to get minimum 25 % public floats requirements as per Bursa rules and regulations..
Anyway, the worst part of Smetric is its unstable bottomline. The profit or loss is like yoyo, sometimes have almost 20% PAT and sometimes have loss. Eg previous quarter also at loss somenofe, i cant see how they going to stable the business and thats why i sell it off
Nevertheless I am the SMETRIC major and minor shareholders (top 30) are having the same thought, eventually they will disposed off their shares at a very handsome profit margin...
No no, i sold it during november the qr released. I just discussed with my friend this evening, for company’s future prospect is excellent, director having lots of corporation which eventually will lead to more revenue, and of course higher profit. However the only issue im concerning is about the instability of bottomline. And it seems certain product is at very low margin as well.
Anyway, which part of it makes you confident with it?
It is the only company listed on Bursa dealing with digital security bussines, with 5 G coming into market, more corporate like Banks and Government institutions need high tech digital security for in place to counter cyber attacks...
