It's not a bubble. Know the difference between tech bubble or dotcom bust in 2000 vs today 2022. Though, you may not be born yet.

It's just consolidation in reaction to expectation of rising interest rates globally may hurt tech companies with high valuations based on future profits. Higher rates means that future earnings are worth less today.

This statement will be true when a company has interest bearing debts.

Thus, choosing a fundamentally strong company is important to journey through the cycle.

Just to let you know, there are many cycles of ups and down throughout less the many decades, and you don't see Bill Gates dumping Microsoft because of interest rates rising or see Larry Page selling off his Google shares due to Nasdaq collapse.

Fed’s Harker calls for ‘action on inflation,’ sees 3 or 4 rate hikes likely this year

Philadelphia Fed President Patrick Harker said Thursday he sees three or four interest rate hikes this year as likely to fight inflation.

The policy tightening would be in response to inflation that is running at the highest level in nearly 40 years.

While Harker expressed support for hikes and the end of monthly bond purchases, he favors waiting before decreasing the Federal Reserve’s $8.8 trillion balance sheet.

You can do your benchmarking method. Nothing wrong with that.
Everyone used different key metrics to evaluate.

Well, what I can tell you is to put a reminder in your phone and revisit this message at 2025.

I believe by 2025, UWC market cap would have surpassed Rm10bil.

I hope you will remember to prove me wrong as I had been investing more than 20 years, I have learn and pick up many things.

Most of the long term investors don't even interested to spare their time here looking for information. A real long-term investor mindset is far different from traders whether short or mid term. Benchmarking is a way to understand the risks associated to a company within the industry.

MorningGlory, I think even not Guru a kindy investor now will also know correction is made upon Bursa Tech cos could be accessed through business news, no surprise at all. Until when all people will not know depends on big player. Once they feel they are squeezing enough the price then they would let go, that is the time they will make it fly again. Means, they will siphon most of the small players hard earn money and will gain most of it from the news/regulation they create. No suggestion to buy/hold either depends on the risk you could take. Investing needs patient and not emotionally affected. Thinking back to 98 crisis just survived from it and there was not much worried upon what happening currently. Still stick to my plan to fond of this growing company without any bustle and hustle in this chat room. Just to correct a statement here, this chat room is not only meant for short/middle term player, long term player also been here to entertain themselves for what our bro and sis interesting chit chatting.
