You are referring to China or Malaysia? If China, I think its not true this year. I am with a few close friends in Seafood trade in Shanghai. Demand this year is very bad.. never seen last 10 years. Price keeps dropping for all types seafood. There is NO CNY cheer this year.

For example, Malaysia supply a lot of Black Tiger shrimp to China. Price dropped 25-40% from 6 months ago. Still slow sales.

So.. exercise caution

Malaysia and China. I know China's economy is on a structural growth downtrend, and the sales of seafood in China will be offset by the increasing demand from Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and etc

Malaysia is still the main revenue contributor to PTRB, so no need to worry too much as its q3 will surplus q2 one 🙂
