Definitely, consumers absorb the SST cost. So, increasing SST rate from 5% to 8% will cause inflation for sure next year

I totally agreed on that because certain businesses / scenario are exempted from SST, whereas GST charges from upstream to downstream business. Bad for consumers, but it's said good for enterprises
