RHB Investment Bank's online trading system has many shortfalls, which the user may find only after they have carry out their share transaction. My recent experience is that, it failed to prompt any sort of message when I sold a share which was consolidating. The system that they provide for the online trading on the other hand did not prompt any sort of message advising the user of the trade condition. End up, I have to pay for a transaction which I would have avoided in the first place if an alert message was prompted. If you are one of those using RHB online trading system then pls kindly highlight it...

Hi Sherry21...their system allows you to sell a share that you technically do not own and later charge you for their mistake...in my case it was a 'over sell'. Their system failed to reflect the consolidated quantity of shares held after the consolidation...but yet allows you to sell the quantity you held before the consolidation. Meaning you sold units that you don't own....I pay for their stupid mistake..

I won't be surprised if it close shop very soon..

Have been using Maybank and CIMB platform. Compared to the rest, their platform is good

Maybank's system is decent enough. But you MUST use Internet Explorer. The Android app is adequate for buying, selling and checking your account. But it doesn't list the counters - most active, biggest winners etc. That's a big shortcoming. I'm surprised that Affin's app is better. But then Affin's minimum commission is higher - twice Maybank's.
