FAIR ALLOCATION OF TAX PAYERS' MONEY TO SARAWAK - AS EQUAL PARTNER. It is high time for each equal partner to Malaysia, specifically Sabah and Sarawak, to receive a substantial annual budget dedicated to the establishment of a new department akin to JAKIM (Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia), but instead, focused on the broader notion of spirituality for all Malaysians. This new entity, called JAKSIM (Jabatan Kemajuan Spirituality untuk Semua Malaysians), would represent a bold and inclusive step towards fostering national unity through a focus on spiritual well-being beyond specific religious boundaries.

EDUCATION REFORM FOR REAL. What is the use of cosmetic changes - or just treating the symptoms but not the disease? While the intention to reduce curriculum density might be to alleviate student stress, it could have far-reaching negative consequences for Malaysia's future workforce, competitiveness, and overall educational standards. Rather than simplifying the content, reforms should focus on enhancing teaching strategies and improving the overall learning environment.

UNITY MATTERS. Why peninsular is showing a bad example? Can't they learn from Sarawak? Key KPI for Unity Minister : Diversity is both our strength and its vulnerability. Prioritizing interracial relationships by mandating that the Unity Ministry reviews all proposals, initiatives, and legal drafts before public announcements or cabinet deliberation is a proactive approach to ensuring national unity. It will help build a more integrated, peaceful, and prosperous Malaysia, where all races work together towards common goals.

PROGRESSIVE EDUCATION, MORALITY AND LIVING VALUES: Sawarak is coming up with the next blueprint consistent with the 21st Century Education Standard to End The Mentality of Objectifying Women In the Future Generation.

Educating the young to prevent the objectification of women is both preventive and salvageable through a comprehensive approach that involves schools, parents, media literacy, and peer influence. The key is fostering empathy, respect, and critical thinking while providing them with tools to recognize and reject objectification in all forms. By raising awareness early on, societies can nurture a generation that values individuals for their full humanity, rather than reducing them to mere objects or sweets madu sugar babes.

SARAWAK IS GEARING FORWARD (LEAVING PENINSULAR BEHIND) WITH GOVERNANCE PAR EXCELLENCE: Fundamentalism in politics creates environments where religious dogma dominates public life, curtails freedoms, fosters division, and often leads to undemocratic governance. The blending of fundamentalist ideology with political power challenges modern principles of equality, justice, and rational governance.

Sarawak provides a superior model for interracial integration and harmony compared to Peninsular Malaysia due to its deep-rooted cultural diversity, inclusive governance, and strong intercommunal relationships. Ethnic groups in Sarawak have historically coexisted with mutual respect and less racial division, supported by policies focused on equitable development rather than race-based preferences. The state also enjoys remarkable religious tolerance, with families often practicing different faiths. Power-sharing in government and communal living traditions further reinforce social cohesion. Unlike the Peninsular, where segregation in education and urban living contributes to ethnic tension, Sarawak’s integrated schools and communities foster early intercultural interactions, building long-lasting harmony. Sarawak exemplifies a more organic and sustainable model of national unity.

VETO POWER: Sarawak MUST be granted veto power to block any unilateral constitutional amendments by Peninsular Malaysia.

Imposing a zero-budget allocation for overseas trips until the country's debt is under control would reflect the government's commitment to financial prudence and addressing public concerns about wastage and corruption. By redirecting these funds to more pressing national needs, Malaysia could move towards more responsible and transparent governance, setting a positive example for other areas of fiscal reform.

More Affordable Alternative Solutions Until Country Debt is Totally Paid Off: With advances in technology, study tours and international collaborations can be carried out virtually, at a fraction of the cost. Webinars, virtual meetings, and online conferences provide platforms for learning and international cooperation without the need for expensive travel.

When a country’s debt becomes too high and it faces challenges in repaying it, governments must make tough decisions to cut back on public spending, particularly focusing on eliminating misallocated funds. Cutting back to zero misallocation is critical to ensure that public resources are used efficiently and to prevent the debt burden from spiraling out of control.

It is unethical, potentially sinful, and non-halal for Members of Parliament (MPs) in Malaysia to receive large pensions—reportedly RM100,000+ per month—while the nation faces rising poverty, an expanding B40 (bottom 40% income earners) population, and increasing national debt is grounded in both moral and socio-economic considerations.

The systemic rot in Malaysia manifests as a triple loss: the rakyat (citizens) feel disconnected from the supposed benefits of governance, public officers lack passion for their work, and only a select few at the top profit from a flawed system that undermines meritocracy. The focus on generating fabricated data, often prioritized over genuine achievements, leads to a disillusioned populace that does not experience the promised improvements in quality of life. As government officials engage in the superficial production of impressive statistics, they become increasingly detached from their actual responsibilities, resulting in a lack of motivation and commitment to meaningful service. This situation creates a void where the needs and aspirations of ordinary citizens are overlooked, leaving them to feel that their contributions and sacrifices go unrecognized.

Furthermore, the top echelons of power benefit disproportionately from this system, often achieving their positions not through merit but through political maneuvering and the manipulation of data to create a facade of success. This environment stifles innovation and genuine accountability, perpetuating a culture where those in lower positions are pressured to conform to unrealistic expectations rather than focus on authentic, productive work. Studies indicate that such disconnection can lead to widespread inefficiencies and even corruption, as reported by organizations like the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission.

Ultimately, this cycle of misalignment erodes trust in institutions, leading to a populace that feels neither empowered nor valued. It highlights the urgent need for a cultural shift within Malaysian governance—one that prioritizes transparency, accountability, and true meritocracy, ensuring that all citizens can feel the goodness of effective governance while public officers can find renewed passion in their work. Without addressing these fundamental issues, the system will continue to reward the selfish few at the expense of the many, perpetuating a cycle of disenchantment and disillusionment among both public servants and the rakyat.

ZERO wastage of higher education fund diversion to many peninsular states that suffer from overrsupply of graduates and post grads; coupled with serious mismatching of academic qualification and job scope

Posted by EngineeringProfit > 1 month ago | Report Abuse

The World Bank report on Malaysia clearly highlights the imbalance between the supply of highly skilled graduates and the available job opportunities in the East Coast regions, including Kelantan, Terengganu, and Pahang, from 2018 to 2023. During this period, fewer than 50,000 highly skilled jobs were offered each year, while the number of graduates entering the job market annually ranged between 200,000 and 350,000.

Posted by EngineeringProfit > 1 month ago | Report Abuse

This phenomenon reflects an overproduction of graduates in highly skilled sectors, where demand does not match the available workforce. Local graduates, who have been trained in specific fields, now face intense competition in a limited job market. This negatively affects their employability, forcing many to take up lower-skilled jobs or work outside their areas of specialization.

Posted by EngineeringProfit > 1 month ago | Report Abuse

This imbalance also impacts the unemployment rate and triggers the migration of labor from the East Coast to metropolitan areas like the Klang Valley, where more job opportunities are available. Without better graduate placement plans or more active development of highly skilled sectors in the East Coast, this issue is likely to persist.

The state governments of Kelantan, Terengganu, and Pahang, as well as the Higher Education Minister, should be held accountable for this imbalance. The overproduction of graduates relative to the availability of skilled jobs points to a failure to control intake quotas, poor workforce planning, and misalignment of educational output with regional job markets. The absence of adequate job matching, community communication, and budget planning exacerbates unemployment and forced migration. This lack of foresight and leadership has led to wasted potential and must result in accountability, including the sacking of responsible officials.
