KUALA LUMPUR: Green Packet Bhd (GPB) said today it did not received any general offers for all the company's shares.

The company has also clarified a report in a financial daily, saying that it is exploring strategic alternatives for Packet One Networks (M) Sdn Bhd (P1), including the possibility of merger, consolidation, to sell a stake and other
options to maximise shareholders value.

According to the report which was also published on October 17, GPB was looking to exit the broadband service business by selling its entire 61 per cent stake in P1.

"So far, no discussions have commenced nor have definitive terms been discussed or concluded," GPB said in a statement.

GPB did not deny. There is no way it could say that discussion is on-going. YTL Power and its South Korean did not deny too.

when there is rumours, and the volume shoot up suddently.. the romours could be correct. today drop but with low volume, meaning everybody is holding this share. I guess the seller is onle the margin player who cannot hold the share anymore because of T+3.
