The United Arab Emirates' national airline, Etihad Airways, has opened a second passenger check-in counter at the KL City Air Terminal in KL Sentral to meet the demand.

The service will enable Etihad Airways' passengers to check-in at the KL Sentral up to four hours before their flight and have their luggage checked through to their final destination.

"Passengers can then board the express train to the Kuala Lumpur
International Airport without the burden of checked baggage and bypass check-in queues at the airport," the airline said in a statement today.

The KL Sentral check-in counter is open twice a day, from 3.25pm until 6.25pm and from 10pm until 11.30pm, with the last call at 12.30am.-- Bernama
