Summary : bigger companies tend to have prices traded at 52w High and testing the resistance with smaller peers shown tremendous recovery of 30% ++ from recent correction.

PETALING JAYA: Interstate travel nationwide will resume starting Monday (Oct 11), says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The Prime Minister said this during a special address at 3pm on Sunday (Oct 10).
"With the achievement of almost 90% of the population being fully vaccinated, therefore I would like to announce that interstate travel will be allowed. This will begin on Monday (Oct 11).
“Interstate travel is only allowed for those who are fully vaccinated.
“The lifting of the prohibition on interstate travel does not apply for visits to localities placed under enhanced movement control order," he added.
Ismail Sabri also said fully vaccinated Malaysians can travel abroad without MyTravelPass effective Monday (Oct 11)...

The steel sector is cyclical so we have to compare steel company performance over the steel cycle. From 2009 to 2022, Leader achieved an average ROE of 2%. You may think that this is terrible until you find out that over the same period, the mean ROE of the Bursa steel companies average negative 1%. So to do well in a tough sector looks go. But is this the best stock?

（吉隆坡15日讯）投资、国际贸易与工业部（MITI）副部长刘镇东昨天表示。政府已对钢铁业实施为期2年的“暂停令”，以便寻找重振钢铁业的对策。钢铁股今天应声上涨。
随著政府准备采取实际行动，解决本地钢铁业面对的挑战，钢铁股应声上涨。
其中，麦克伦钢铁（MYCRON，5087，主板工业股）的涨势最显著。
半天休市，麦克伦钢铁上升14仙或44%，至47.5仙，成交量为3亿5965万股，成为第10大热门股和第10大上升股。
而钢铁股龙头安裕资源（ANNJOO，6556，主板工业股）上半天也涨了4仙或3.74%，至1.11令吉。

刘镇东昨天在国会2024年供应法案的委员会辩论环节时表示，该部门自今年8月15日起，对钢铁业实施为期2年的“暂停令”，以便重新评估与应对行业所面临的挑战，并根据2030年新工业大蓝图（NIMP 2030）作出调整。
这项暂缓令涵盖所有查询、现有申请评估、新申请、执照转让、扩展、制造执照，以及执照豁免证书。同时，这涉及1975年工业协调法案里钢铁行业的制造活动，包括有色金属回收活动。
然而，刘镇东表示，若有支持新工业大蓝图议程的制造执照申请，可以考虑豁免暂停申请。
“这包括生产高附加价值复杂钢铁产品的项目，并涉及集碳、使用和封存（CCUS）等低碳与减碳技术，支持新工业大蓝图议程。”
他续指，任何新制造执照申请，将根据新工业大蓝图下设定的12个参数进行评估。

土地局是援引1960年土地收购法令发出奖励通知和报酬通知（H表格），准备以4255万8626令吉99仙价格作为遣散费和损失赔偿，收购该公司在雪兰莪巴生加埔一块约2万8903平方呎的永久产权土地。
上述代收购价码，是巴生土地局在2023年11月28举办的土地听证会上，根据Ferronet公司代表和相关方提出的实据作出的决定。
该公司将从中取得3611万7937令吉收益。
该公司表示，该地段的原始投资成本约644万1230令吉，目前是空置的工业用地。卖地所得款项将用来偿土地抵押贷款，余款将用作未来业务扩张、营运资金和偿还其他债务。
