Tradewinds (M) Berhad is engaged in the provision of management services and investment holding. The Company operates in four segments: sugar, which is engaged in the manufacture and sale of refined sugar; plantation, which is engaged in the cultivation of oil palm, processing and sale of palm products and the provision of plantation management and advisory services; rice, which is engaged in the procuring, collecting, processing, importing, exporting, purchasing rice, paddy and other grains, including activities in relation to the distribution of rice, and investment holding, which is engaged in investment holding and provision of management services. On June 9, 2010, Tradewinds Plantation Berhad, a subsidiary company of the Company, acquired the remaining 60% equity interest in Hak JTOP Sdn Bhd (Hak JTOP). Its subsidiaries include Central Sugars Refinery Sdn Bhd, Gula Padang Terap Sdn Bhd, Delta Delights Sdn Bhd, Retus Plantation Sdn Bhd and Tradewinds Plantation Berhad.

LOL@raymond62... i hear this counter is undervalued and all.. the drastic price movement is due its lack of volume..few issued shares only.. so when a big buyer comes in..they can move the price alot..both ways.. but since its said to be undervalued most likely be slow downwards but fast up.. in other words this stock got magic..

A funny observation just came to me : singh seems to be attracted to wind and gas stocks! Wonder why? Notable exception is kfima, which we know his passion for sardines! Hahahaha
