UAC Berhad is a Malaysia-based company. The Company operates in two segments: Building and construction products, which is involved in the manufacture and sale of fiber cement boards, polyethylene pipes and fittings and steel roof trusses, and Others, which is involved in property holding. Its main product is cellulose fiber cement (CFC) board, which are used in residential, institutional, commercial and industrial buildings as fascial/siding, internal lining and wall partitioning, ceiling, soffit and eave lining, substrate for flooring, fire and insulation application, decorative application and roofing. For the year ended December 31, 2009, the Company has six subsidiaries, namely S.B. Industries (Sdn.) Bhd., UAC Steel Systems Sdn. Bhd., UAC Pipes Sdn. Bhd., Fitek (M) Sdn. Bhd., UAC Marketing Sendirian Berhad and UAC Masterflange Sdn. Bhd.
