Encik Muhamad Umar Swift commenced his career with the Audit Section of Price Waterhouse ("PW") in 1996 and subsequently transferred to Corporate Recovery Practice Division of PW. He then joined Bank of Singapore (Australia) Limited for 3 years. He returned to Malaysia in January 1996 and took the post of General Manager, Corporate Finance with Gas Malaysia Sdn Bhd ("GMSB") and was appointed Chief Executive Officer of GMSB in July 1997. He joined Malayan Banking Group in 2004 as Head, Enterprise Financial Services. He joined MAA Holdings Berhad in May 2006 as Deputy Chief Executive Officer.
